I'm a Shrek, too lol! I love me some onions and garlic 🤤 I definitely like the term "Taco Wreath" much better! This looked scrumptious! I'm gonna put it into next week's dinner plans!
Lol....when you said "I'm hungry enough to eat it". Not exactly an endorsement. Tee hee. I wonder if it would be good with some cilantro and red pepper with the meat mixture, and guacamole in the center. With lime, and tomatoes? Love your vids. Loved your honesty. How many times have we all cooked something that looked really good, but the end result was. . . eh, it's ok. I'm hungry enough to eat it.
Pre made taco seasoning is never good. Change it to even just salt and pepper would improve the taste. I have never had the canned crescent rolls, can not comment on what they would taste like.
Maybe a way to improve it would be to pour some seasoning on the crescent dough so it'll match to the taco meat inside a little better. Seems kinda fun and tasty though, maybe I'll try it.
Girl I love your honesty and adventurous spirit ! You make cooking look so much fun. Reminds me of cooking with my best friend. We always had a good time. :)
Hi Angelica! I love all your videos...thank you! I have an idea. How about dusting the paper with corn meal before putting your crescent dough down for a toasty corn taste. I’m gonna give it a try. Toodles! Eric
That looks really good. I wonder if you could use tortilla dough instead. And I kinda make up my own taco seasoning. But I like the way that looks. It’s festive.
Thank you, Angelica. I was trying to make a kid friendly Christmas open house menu for my family, and this will be perfect! God bless and keep you and your family:)
What do you think about seasoning the dough? Maybe with a garlic butter? Might give a little something extra. :) I love your channel and look forward to your next video! They are always wonderful.
I wonder if there's a way to incorporate a sweet empanada spin to this recipe. Seems like maybe that would complement the dough flavor and texture better? That, or smother the dang thing in cheese, chile, and crema, and call it a day. Either way, it's really cool that you try new recipes on this channel and let us share those experiences with you. Thank you, Mamá! 💓
I like cooked onions but not a fan of raw. My mom would eat just a raw onion sandwich with nothing else. Not sure how she could eat it. Oh I heard a tip on grating cheese the other day. Spray your box grater with cooking spray and it is a lot easier. Ring looked good.
Something else I make with crescent rolls. Cook up some sausage broke up like the hamburger meat here. After cooked drain well then mix in cream cheese. Mix really good then spoon onto one of the triangle and roll up like u normally would and bake. My whole family loves them.😊
Look delish! Is there a difference in adding your taco seasoning to raw meat as opposed to when the meat is cooked? I always thought it would retain more grease. Either way I am going to try this recipe. 🙂
Very interesting I’m not a crescent roll pastry fan, but I’d try it you never know until you try. I’m the experiment cook in the house, and the main cook…I just have to not tell my wife until I make it…Lol
** if you use 80/20, do the seasoning after you drain the grease. I always put the meat on straight off the stove when it's hot lol. And the dough doesn't have to seal to dough. I never worry about it and it's perfect everytime.
If they can make a Mexican pizza then we can certainly make a taco ring. Plus my MIL always makes something called Taco dip for Christmas. It’s basically a Seven Layer dip.
I've never seen anyone add the taco seasoning to the raw meat . I can't because to greesy I always drain and rinse the meat the add seasoning and the water and let it simmer and reduse the water
Lovely recipe. Sadly, I have found all Pillsbury biscuits and croissants have become sickeningly sweet. I had to throw out a pan of chicken and biscuits because they tasted like chicken and cake. I would have to find a croissant dough that wasn't sweet, to go with that amazing savory filling.
I add refried beans to my meat mixture. It helps hold it together.
We do too .
Sour cream makes it better. Thanks for another idea!
Looks like a Christmas wreath, and looks yummy, I am definitely going to make it, thank you for sharing
Who remembers Pampered Chef? This is a recipe from back in the day, like early 2000's it is so good, when you put your own spin on it.
What a fun recipe! My son is coming home next weekend for our annual Christmas cookie decorating. This will be a fun family dinner!
I'm with you on the onion's, I swear there isn't a thing I cook that doesn't get them. Lol. Looks yummy..
Wow even desserts?

@@roxazaloah Mine is real simple. Chipotle peppers and salt. Some times I also add an onion while cooking the meat.
@@roxazaloah I like to smoke my own, but they run out to fast, so most of the time canned.
Loved your husbands snoopy cartoons on his wall! Still one of my all time favorites.
This looked really good.
God bless all here.
This is amazing 😻 The presentation aswell , perfect for gatherings ! Ty for sharing AJ ✨😊

Adding crushed fritos on top before you fold over the dough is really good as well.
Looks delicious!! I might add a can of drained and rinsed black beans. Looks so good 😊 tyty
Ooh onions! This recipe is so versatile, you can be as creative as you want. 🤗😋😋😋
Girl I love your honesty and adventurous spirit ! You make cooking look so much fun. Reminds me of cooking with my best friend. We always had a good time. :)
My mom made this when I was a kid. Now I make it for my grandkids. So many ways to spruce it up.
Love her honesty about it
My kid's love these!! We fix one probably once a week.

It looks to me to be sort of the same idea as a Beef Wellington, but taco flavored! Yumm 😋
That looks really good. I wonder if you could use tortilla dough instead. And I kinda make up my own taco seasoning. But I like the way that looks. It’s festive.
I've done these and love them. So did my kids and grandkids.
That sure does look yummy!~ I absolutely love your hairstyle :)
Thank you, Angelica. I was trying to make a kid friendly Christmas open house menu for my family, and this will be perfect! God bless and keep you and your family:)
Interesting! I will give it a try, just based on the festive look!
Funny 😄 hungry enough to eat it! Looks good to me! Thanks so much for sharing!
Will make for sure thank you
May I ask what equipment you’re using to record this view over the stove?
I think a little salsa or guacamole would have put over the top.
Definitely adding some sour cream to mine.. I like to try new things.. thanks 😊

I just found you and I've been watching you you cook really good and it's not complex cooking it's easy cooking I like that
What do you think about seasoning the dough? Maybe with a garlic butter? Might give a little something extra. :) I love your channel and look forward to your next video! They are always wonderful.
Good idea Bridget maybe even taking some of the taco seasoning adding to the butter instead of garlic! Thanks 💡
I’ve made Buffalo chicken ranch like that. So delicious
That looks delicious. Will have to make.
I use to make this for my kids in the 90's and they loved it!
Yummy looks delicious. Thank you Angelaca for sharing have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. 🙏❤🙏❤
I made this tonight - it was great! I loved the addition of the smoked paprika especially. Thank you!

I have looked at a few taco ring recipes and this is the first i have seen with extra spices in it. I am going to use this one.
Thanks that’s awesome. I’d like to try it with homemade dough of some sort
thanks Angelica. Just made this as a midnight snack. Merry Christmas to you and your Family.
Something else I make with crescent rolls. Cook up some sausage broke up like the hamburger meat here. After cooked drain well then mix in cream cheese. Mix really good then spoon onto one of the triangle and roll up like u normally would and bake. My whole family loves them.😊
Thanks for the idea..I love sausage and cream cheese!* I will try that really soon
Love it
I think that looks beautiful and yummy

Taco crescent ring is very interesting. I love tacos. Thank you for recipe. Great Video Angelica!!👍🏾👍🏾
You did a good job on that I don't know if mine will turn out as good as yours but I will definitely give it a try, thanks for sharing with us. 😀❤❤👍
I always go rouge lol. I’ve not made the taco ring before either. But I do have crescent rolls in the fridge. Maybe I’ll make this this week!
Looks delicious 😋 thank you
Very interesting I’m not a crescent roll pastry fan, but I’d try it you never know until you try. I’m the experiment cook in the house, and the main cook…I just have to not tell my wife until I make it…Lol
That recipe is in Pampered Chef cook books. It’s really good and easy.
I can't believe that worked! Awesome!
** if you use 80/20, do the seasoning after you drain the grease.
I always put the meat on straight off the stove when it's hot lol.
And the dough doesn't have to seal to dough. I never worry about it and it's perfect everytime.
We've made this for probably 20 years. When we plate it, we smear sour cream, salsa, tomatoes, and lettuce over the top. It is the best!
This is absolutely delicious 😋 thanks for sharing 👍
Maybe add some cornmeal to the pan then do your dough around? Looks good and easy
Salsa and sour cream as accompaniments?
Would filo dough have a flakey taste to it, more butter. Obviously a lot of layers, just wondering
If they can make a Mexican pizza then we can certainly make a taco ring. Plus my MIL always makes something called Taco dip for Christmas. It’s basically a Seven Layer dip.
Angelica, you had me a 🌮 my friend, Felix Navidad.
** nice **
I've always wanted to make this .👍🤗
Did this tonight, everybody loved it. Going to try it again tomorrow with chicken, because wow hamburger has become expensive.

My grandkids will love it 🎠😜
You’ve got a great helper there.
Where did you get those Snoopy Pictures? I need those!!!
Hi. Can you teach us how to make carrot cake sometime. Oh and thank you for today's recipe. I'll make some later this week. 👍
Looks so delicious.
Drizzle sour cream 🙂
OH YEAH. A winner.
I'm making this right now!!
I've never seen anyone add the taco seasoning to the raw meat . I can't because to greesy I always drain and rinse the meat the add seasoning and the water and let it simmer and reduse the water
I see u use lean hmm I guess that's why u didn't have to drain
I so want to make this but Ill probably omit the olives
I love these!!! SN: you are so pretty!!! 💖🥰🤗
Yummy
Yummy 😋
Missed opportunity to say “great grater” 😋
Very awesome idea
