      Automated comment, just did 3 small jobs for 650 and haven't used but a quarter tank of gas on a V8 Ford. Taxes can be written off to pay around 15% so really he is likely to be taking home from his 8k monthly about 5k after expenses and taxes.

      Thats a great business, people are willing to pay especially if you go to their house. Also look into oil changing: right now I have to pay $110 to change my oil because its a specific oil (the oil only costs like $20), so look into that too.

      Market for that is gonna be saturated in another 2-3 years. Missed the boat on it by about 5 years. Every sidehustle channel on youtube is talking about doing detail for a job.

      And if you get very comfortable, look into the tools necessary to change brake pads. You can get discounted prices at rockauto, and save your customers $200 while still making a healthy profit. Just be honest about the process. Brake pad and rotor changes, except for some luxury cars, is very easy.

      Exactly. Hard water will cause scaling effect and calcification on the modules. Pain in the ass to remove by the way. Is the only reason why we NEED to use RO/DI, and in fact: it's stated in every warranty sheet from the module manufacturers. If only some actually read the warranty guidelines, we would have a lot less cowboys on the market using tapped water and high pressure washers...

      @@PNWTraveler seasons? lol, that would depend on where you're at... I'd venture to guess so long as you don't slip on snowy/icy surfaces you can advertise and take work anytime. I have only gotten very few roof cleaning requests over the past year, but more gutter cleanings. There's also not a lot of moss and stuff where I'm at so I can't speak to an expert level of products to use for that if that's what you're asking, but general rule of thumb is brooms or blowers depending of if it's wet or not. But do extended research on this, I'm not a roof guru and have a limited scope based on my location on volume and more time spent on other things.

    HEY KIDS! As a successful entrepreneur I can tell you don’t let these TH-cam titles like “$100K/year Business” impress you! The difference between a business and a job is having something called an overhead! You can make $100K per year but it takes $60K/year to upkeep the business! So you’re really making $40K profit per year! Tax write offs exist but only to an extent plus you get that during tax season! Don’t let these titles trick you into thinking you’ll have $100K to spend on yourself. A business owner can make $100K per year but the guy working a job can make $70K per year - meanwhile the guy working a job is the one who made more money 😬

      @giovannigiorgio8962 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you explain what RO/DI is?

    • @SpencerClaeys
      @SpencerClaeys ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think it matters man haha, dust/pollen fall every single second the panels lose efficiency every single day having filtered water isn’t gonna matter much. And I say that as a guy who does have a DI system but I think it’s more hype and a way to get customers to think they need to hire someone

    • @christiankama2155
      @christiankama2155 ปีที่แล้ว

      We use RO/DI water not because it affects efficiency, actually spraying any type of water on a solar panel doesn’t affect efficiency. We use RO/DI water because it’s good business practice, leaves a spot free clean, does not void the warranty on solar panels (Maintaining your customers warranty is a HUGE deal), does not leave calcium buildup, does not discoloration the frames, and the biggest thing is DI water is non conductive (very helpful to not getting shocked). We don’t use RO/DI water because the market or hype tells us too, it’s because it’s professional! Hope that helps

    • @christiankama2155
      @christiankama2155 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s the shading, soiling that affects efficiency. Then the cleaning helps improve and maintain its beginning operational efficiency. Maintenance is the key
