The only way the"Wiggle-Stick" works is with the cover and arm removed... 😱 😃That has to be one of the best sounding SG/LP's I've heard and I've been around 45+ years playing all the "vintage" guitars when we referred to them as "old guitars"...
That sideways vibrato is the very definition of “over-engineered.”
David Kieltyka, I know...it seems ridiculous. But think about it... The entire mechanism sits on top of the guitar. There’s no rout with the block and springs like a Strat. And the sideways wiggle motion has to be translated into a backwards and forwards motion at the bridge. I would like to see one with the on the cover off to see how really works

That is my second favorite Les Paul design, after the double cut junior. I just love em.
Pretty awesome guitar. While the 'break' wouldn't bug me (especailly for the price drop) it would need a cover for the trem. I used to like That Metal Show when it was on TV here and my fave episode was with Michael Schenker and Kirk Hammett. Both have famous guitars with headstock breaks (ufo/msg V, pg/gm lp).

I think it would be kind of interesting to give the asking price on these guitars. I know they don't do it because they want you to go shopping on the website or go in the store, but I'm just saying.....
I wonder if the wiggle stick design played a part in Clarence White's B bender...sort of the same idea...

Real deal we've all heard about these and the story's about Les Paul and getting his name off the guitar. I love to have this.it's a part of History.

Never have seen the chrome cover off a Les Paul SG before. I didn't know what
that was, either. Weird looking, great, great guitar. Even though Carlos did play
Black Magic Woman on an SG Special, which I hope you'll do one day, Mark. The
two P-90's on the Specials jsut sing in the SG. The Les Paul SG's are amazing
instruments - light, resonant, and with PAF's. What is not to like?

I'd like a shoutout to my Extremely Cheap Brother in Law Kurt - his Birthday is Tuesday, August 14th. Kurt will be 44 years old. I want to start a GoFundMe page for him so he can get guitar lessons & a real guitar. He only has a Chibson, & just constantly plays Led Zeppelin riffs like "Whole Lotta Love", "Black Dog", "Immigrant Song", so could you help Kurt catapult into the next step in his guitar career because it gets pretty boring when all he plays is compilations of riffs, and then he's done in 2 minutes at our family gatherings. We want him one day to play a whole song.

Nice guitar there. SGs like most Gibson always a weak point at the headstock. The guitars looks and sounds nasty the way it should be. Bet that thing has a ton of stories if only it could talk.

I have respect for Gibson guitars, but I could never own one. Too much money for a guitar that always reminds me of Pee-Wee Herman's bike, no matter what hardware, electronics or finish is added.
