Most of the people who buy the guitar are going to use distortion anyway. I can't stand those you didn't hear the real tone because it wasn't clean. Sorry it didn't meet the GuitarlosCarlos stamp of approval!!

I guess Les Paul didn't like it because he couldn't play like Michael Lemmo. Iconic rock tone like nothing else. This guitar has an attitude all it's own. The shredders dream and floats the Allman Bros. blues as well as metal mania 70s rock. Once again ML shows us how and why the era of rock music lies in the hands of the GOTD God at Normans' Rare guitars.

Got a 66' SG years ago for $200. Not as clean as this one, it's been around and played. But ya kno' an SG is an SG. Mine may not be the prettiest, but sure sounds awesome. SG's never loose it.

the SG has long been on my radar and this one sounds amazing , and it's not red , it's walnut or something , those patent gibsons just rock , and Lemmo puts it thru it's paces , great version of life in the fast lane , great guitar , great player , great GOTD , thanks guys.

I slapped a Bigsby on my black SG, (with a vibramate plate so I can always put the stop tailpiece back on... It works great, but it’s a pain to restring.) Locking tuners and a roller bridge keep it in tune. (It’s a 1993 SG, as they say on here, it’s in “player condition”. Actually when I bought it was in “no condition” all the hardware was gone!
