    Looked great Ric, love your UDS scheme there! Question, when you do your chicken like that do you fill your basket with lit coals or what is your process?

    • @RicsBBQSpecialties
      @RicsBBQSpecialties  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Papa! For this cook I Filled the basket 1/2 way with B&B oak charcoal. Then dropped a full charcoal chimney of coals over the basket after I had it placed in the drum. I cook my chicken at 300 to 350 👍🏼👍🏼 Thanks for watching and don’t forget to share the video and tell someone about my channel😎

    Looked good! What is the flavor profile of the Chuck or Dust?

    • @RicsBBQSpecialties
      @RicsBBQSpecialties  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is sweet and has a medium level of heat from chipotle peppers. The sweet and savory spices give a perfect balance to chicken😎

    Thanks for the video, how far down is your grate?

    • @RicsBBQSpecialties
      @RicsBBQSpecialties  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Trippingonfaith ! Hello! This UDS has 3 different levels. The highest is 3” from the lid, then 6” then 9” There really is no rule just set it up for what you want to cook on it. 3” from the top is what most call standard. If you want a little more detail, I have a 2 part build video in my library. Thanks for watching! 👊🏼
