As a 50 plus person, Guided meditation has been an incredible revelation to me. Why don't medical practitioners embrace this holistic approach and encourage patients with sleep anxiety to try it. Would save billions of pounds on the cost of pills and change people's mindsets for the better. Thank you so much for your generosity.

I've been listening to Sara's voice guide me many a morning to start my day and many an evening to prepare for sleep. I have tried listening to others but they mostly sound like fingernails on chalkboard to me. Also, it's not just her voice, it is the content within the meditations that make them so powerful. I love the mindful movement meditations, they are the best on TH-cam. For the sleep ones, they are fantastic at helping me fall asleep, but every one of them wakes me up again later on because there's just a little bit too much talking. I've used sound reducing apps that have a timer on the sound but they are hard to know what timing to set to. X
Through the passing of my dad, betrayal of siblings and now in the process of moving out of one of his homes where I've lived for 10 years, that my siblings won't allow me to purchase, these meditations have helped me to sleep, relax, ease tension, release anxiety and grief and make it possible to rest and move forward. Just listening repeatedly to the affirmations only, does the trick for me. I feel blissfully, weirdly, happy, like when one feels the high of a new relationship and that Oneness thing. I suffer from trauma and depression. The first 30 minutes or so of this relaxation meditation are soothing and helpful. Unfortunately the positive affirmation make me feel very inadequate and unsettled again as some of them just feel "wrong" somehow. I can't relate and I end up feeling more distressed. Therefore I have to switch off before the positive affirmations start. Otherwise very grateful for this "meditation". I often listen to the beginning when I wake up very early in the morning. Thanks for all your healing efforts.
I feel the same. I enjoy the opening, validating my distress. But, with horrible trauma... that devastated me , and caused severe depression, anxiety and insomnia. The guilt, regret and losses... I can't feel better with anything positive, as they don't make me feel better, just worse. I just want to get 1-2 hrs sleep if possible, but dread the next day of suffering.
Your videos are helping me so much! I have a very serious case of agoraphobia, and I haven't been able to leave my house for the past 6 years (even to go to the dentist). However, since I started listening to your videos I sleep and have less panic attacks. Everything is so effective with these. May I ask another request for the next long one you do? Would you consider turning up the volume of the music the smallest amount once your voice fades out please? I for one, love to hear the music continue at a quiet (but slightly louder volume) than it is now. I wonder what others think. Its just a suggestion. I'm coming to rely so much on these and it's such a hyper sensitive state when I'm listening that I would love the music to be just a touch louder. Thank you so much if you are able to. Just listening repeatedly to the affirmations only, does the trick for me.
I feel blissfully, weirdly, happy, like when one feels the high of a new relationship and that Oneness thing. Only that "oneness" is with my Self!

To those that share the Suffering from a personal Trauma. Grief, job loss, deaths of loved ones, loss of eyesight, physical pain, divorce,.. that caused insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, ... we are in such unimaginable distress and pain. Listening to this meditation, hoping for a miracle of peace, comfort in our lonely suffering. 😢 we have each other. 🫶

This does help .I am dealing with an aortic dissection,I feel like I have a ticking time bomb inside me 😢.I am so greatful to the mindful movement group especially Sarah Raymond to help me relax enough that i can sleep and just get through my day

I suffer from trauma and depression. The first 30 minutes or so of this relaxation meditation are soothing and helpful. Unfortunately the positive affirmation make me feel very inadequate and unsettled again as some of them just feel "wrong" somehow. I can't relate and I end up feeling more distressed. Therefore I have to switch off before the positive affirmations start. Otherwise very grateful for this "meditation". I often listen to the beginning when I wake up very early in the morning. Thanks for all your healing efforts.

I agree, the positive affirmations are not true in my life and make me feel inadequate as well
I feel the same. I enjoy the opening, validating my distress. But, with horrible trauma... that devastated me , and caused severe depression, anxiety and insomnia. The guilt, regret and losses... I can't feel better with anything positive, as they don't make me feel better, just worse. I just want to get 1-2 hrs sleep if possible, but dread the next day of suffering.

However, since I started listening to your videos I sleep and have less panic attacks. Everything is so effective with these. May I ask another request for the next long one you do? Would you consider turning up the volume of the music the smallest amount once your voice fades out please? I for one, love to hear the music continue at a quiet (but slightly louder volume) than it is now. I wonder what others think. Its just a suggestion. I'm coming to rely so much on these and it's such a hyper sensitive state when I'm listening that I would love the music to be just a touch louder. Thank you so much if you are able to. This is what I need. This meditation has given me a release. It has the exact encouragement for all of the loss I have had for the past 2 years. I have gone to sleep with it and also listened to it.
