    I read that when using AGX, you need to use the RAW for the image color space

      I believe this should have the same effect as what we're using in the video

    You know he is good when you see him guessed the accurate subsurface radius of human flesh just by eyeballing.

    thank you very much, I have one questios tho, probably you explained in the video but I didn´t get it, so why you plug the material in the subsureace instead of the color? thanks and I wait for your reply, sorry if you have explained that

    Could you cover bringing a Substance project over to Vray?

    If scale matters . So should I scale a human character below 2 meters which is a default cube size?. Average human height is 1.8 meters

    Hi. How to learn the fundamentals as a 3d artist?

  •  ปีที่แล้ว

    Really nice tutorial and model,. Just one question, why not use for SSS raduis a simple color node instead of mix RGB ? Does I missed something ?

    • @FlippedNormals
      @FlippedNormals  ปีที่แล้ว

      What color node would you use instead? mixRGB is nice since its a simple way of adding a solid color, but if you have a simpler way, we're all ears!

    • @bidfrust
      @bidfrust ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FlippedNormals There is a RGB node, which just gives you a single color output!

      @@bidfrust Perfect, didnt know about this. Yes, this would work well. What matters is that you have a solid color.

    I beg differ about your remark on "undo" camera movement while "lock camera to view" in on. Undo does work in that case too. Great tutorial otherwise !

    Can you do a similar workflow, but bring it to Maya?

    • @FlippedNormals
      @FlippedNormals  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The workflow is really very similar, even down to the specific material :)

    Why not Eevee ? I didn't see any cycles' specific node here.

      There is also nothing that would require saving time so why not go for like better render engine?

    • @destructyo

      Because Eevee looks worse? Strange question.
