Hey, just want to pitch in my 5 cents. Instead of just thrown in a cinnamon stick, the asian market sell a package includes cinnamon and others dried stuff for pho which will give you the ultimate pho aroma from the restaurant and still keep your 5 minutes quickie.
Sounds like a noice idea but I now moved to a place where there isn't any Asian markets to find that spices you talking about so I love that he made it extra easy. Your idea is also extra awesome for the people who do have access to Asian markets.
All it takes is practice and a sharp knife. Most new people use dull ass knives, which makes cutting more dangerous and difficult. Invest in a good knife and knife sharpener!
Chris K it’s not that I have a dull knife(which I don’t ). I’m just scared about cutting my fingers a lot of the time, so I always cut in a very slow and choppy manner
If you pay attention you will see that actually he is not that good;yeah better than you and myself;but he done that cilantro and green onions cutting wrong. Watch Gordon Ramsay's " cooking essentials"; he talks about how you're not supposed to leave all the juices of the herbs and aromatics on the board;if that happened means you did it wrongfully. Look at his board;that was all wet with juices from that cilantro 😂😂
Danny William jacobsen That has nothing to do with cutting skills. Also, calling Quang's knife skills "not good" is a joke, he was literally a chef and has professional cutting skills, nevermind the cooking. It's ridiculous how some people think they are genius critics from watching a few Gordon Ramsay videos.
@@Kevin-go5we yep, can't even come close to what Quang just did above. Takes talent, and it's pretty difficult for the beginner. I just cut it slow as I'm no where near the level of a cook.
Thanks man, I've tried this recipe many times now and shared with some friends. They love it too. One friend has been making pho for three nights straignt.
Its an Old video and youre prob not gonna see this but I just made this recipe and its my first time ever tasting phó and it is literally a life changing experience! This is soooo good
I really enjoy that you broke it down to the cinnamon stick broth but more importantly the thinly sliced raw beef . Just a lump of that thinly cut beef helps the broth tenfold. My ingredient is even much simpler. I just use a Vietnamese pho stock cube stem and root of coriander and mint.
Just made this today but I added things to my broth but came out great, flavor was right. Quick pho. I added to the broth and I didn't use Campbell's, I used another brand. To the broth I also added: chopped onions, star anise, cilantro, scallions, thai peppers, pimento seeds, grated fresh ginger, garlic, beef, beef bones and a few pigtails. I don't like sriracha so omitted that, I like the chili garlic sauce so added that instead. Delicious
QUANG! been watching your videos for a long time now. just made something close to this, except i used nuoc leo pho broth with beef belly as my meat. would've have even known where to start making it without you. It turned out freaking amazing, you really showed me how EASY it is!
When he says oh man oh man 🤣🤣🤣♥️ looks so appetizing A little surprised that you crave pho 🍲 24/7 with all the other million amazing dishes you make. But to each their own. It looks perfect.
to all students: if you can't afford a bowl of Pho in a restaurant that costs 13 bucks. This recipe will feed you and one more friend easily. To me: the main ingredient is at 3:04
I think the new place might be a little smaller, hence sound bounces (echos) more between the walls, and it may sound loud to Quang when filming. This along with neighbors (looks like a condo/apartment) might be the reason the GANG isn't as loud as as the og house. Only a speculation... Unless confirmed
I wished it were so easy to make Pho like that for regular cook at home, you have experience so it’s easier for you to make that quick. That would take me forever to make.
Quang I know a trick to get the stove top to like new again. If you don't already have one. Great video, never had pho but now that you made it for people like me who can't cook I will definitely try it. I miss kitty.
I do quick chicken pho with rotisserie chicken. I still roast my anise, ginger, onions, peppercorns, garlic and cinnamon; then add them to chicken broth 😋
Would like to know as well. Made the campbells one for two last week came out good only thing I did different was used the Old Man Que Huong Pho Bac spice bag, half a stick cinnamon, and some HMart wagyu shabu beef. Pretty bomb for being prepared in under 20 mins. Yes it's not traditional way of making pho but damn it's not bad. Don't need to pull out the instant pot anymore lol.
I love PHO even posted a mukbang about it and also made it an yes it’s a long process to make the clear broth so I wonder if that beef broth will change the actual flavor of PHO, so I will try your way but add Thai Basil, Bean Sprouts and Like for topping as well and will post it 🙌🏽😋🍲
Use beef bone broth because it's cooked longer than regular beef broth. And if you don't cook your beef in the broth like he did then it will be clearer. Just cook the beef in the water you use to cook the pho noodle in. And yes, it's missing basil, beansprouts, and LIME!
Finally I don’t have to go through all that process making Pho 🍲 thanks man 👍🏼🤙🏻, if you get a chance make stuff Lebanese zucchini’s & monoush (Breakfast Pizza).
Quang: 5mins pho
Also Quang: boil time is 20mins
GAMING WITH TIMONTHY 😂
Bruuuhh LOL
You thought it would boil in 4 minutes? Because you need time to chop onions/prepare too
it is a joke bruh i know how long it takes to cook pho because i am vietnamese

Can we just take a moment to appreciate his knife skills. I’m a noob when it comes to cooking so this really impresses me

I like the way you cook! No measurement cup or spoon!!! That’s how I cook at home! Thank You for sharing! I will definitely try your recipes out!!!!!!
If you're going to cook the broth with the cinnamon in it, why not just go ahead and add star anise as well? Give it a little more of the pho flavor.

You should try the “better than boullion” brand broth,it’s a paste that u mix with boiling water and it’s the best I’ve found in a store
My man's killing it with the cooking vids!!!
Wow I’ve been waiting for this
No hate quang, but when you say join the notification GANG!, it doesn’t sound the same like it did in the OG house. It’s quieter in my opinion.

I haven't had pho in a long time. You're making me hungry.
Killer Recipe Quang! Thank you!
I do quick chicken pho with rotisserie chicken. I still roast my anise, ginger, onions, peppercorns, garlic and cinnamon; then add them to chicken broth 😋
I use beef bone broth instead add cinnamon stick star anise ginger root garlic fish sauce ssimmer 20-30 min then add noodles and condiments yum
I’m sick right now and just made this. I didn’t have a cinnamon stick so I just used ground cinnamon. lol. Won’t lie it all came out pretty damn good
Nice 👍 video!!
Will beef chuck roast boneless pre-sliced work too? 😬

You're an awesome chef brah! DON'T blink
Take 20 mins to boil but title say "5 min pho" LMFAO must be a Canadian thing

Awesome 55 minute pho !
Love you Quang 😍😍
The beef foam/scum is a no no for me quang. I’d cooked mine in a separate boiling pot.

I think he included samoan food when he made new zealand feast.Check it out 👍

no star anise. no ginger. no clove, no coriander.... this guy is insane
