What i do to stop crying from onions after cutting is put my head in the freezer. Apparently chef's said that's what they do so i tried it and it actually works or if you don't want to use your freezer use ice cubes with a paper towel covering it and put it on your eye. That chef actually came to my school when i was in highschool cooking class and he also said the way we cut onions and the knife can change how the onion won't spread that juices is out.
Yo! Guys. I’m vietnamese and living in Vietnam too. I haven’t seen any Pho bowls with so many meats like this one! XD. Anyways, westernized Pho makes my mouth can’t stop watering. lol
That thin layer on top is delicious and critical to making nuoc beo pho, a much richer version that most people eat. The pho restaurant I work at always leaves that layer floating up top for certain customers (and myself) who want it. I think the smell might be off putting for some people but the taste is next level. Also large pieces of green onion go nicely with it
