Next time you tape off hard parts like that,go get some qauter inch fine line tape at the paint store you'll get clean lines.....I'm a automotive painter of 21yrs.
1/4 inch fineline stripe tape your lines first, then mask up to the fineline. No more paintbrush necessary. It'll also make turns too like pinstripe tape. Looking good for sure Preston!!

How about going to the dollar store and look for a stainless steel bowl. Find one that the rim will match up to your grill where the headlights mount. Mount it bulging outward and trim out the center till your new headlights fit. Should give you clearance from the radiator. Cheap spacer.

I'm not sure about all the Stars, Stripes Skulls, it seems really busy to me, but I'm 100% certain it will look great when installed, you got a real eye for that kind of thing... Looks spot on to me! Get some cheap stainless dogbowls and cut out the bottom but leaving a lip,then drill mounting holes for Allen head bolts and fix onto the front headlight apertures and give them an idiot name like,German inverted shallow dish headlight standoffs!!!:)
You can actually use pinstriping to get in those tight to reach areas and Contours then just you use masking tape over the Pinstripe . They do sell thin masking tape but it's not as flexible as the pinstriping. They also make a specific type of masking/trimming tape for this but I've always used pinstriping tape to do flames and others designs .
I did it bro... the red should set it off and the murica theme should defs suit the cleetus show. I like it low but see how it looks when ya get the coilovers... And the headlights look mean!
I would have gone with flat on the manifold and gloss on the valve covers. Engine bay needs cleaning. Hydrodipping is on point and is awesome saucem. How about a fan powered spray booth of some kind, to keep the vapors from going everywhere. That's what I think. Keep it up, do your thing. :)
Ever try klean-strip EPC535 Bulldog prep and clean abrasive cleaner after dish soap and the apply finish and see how that holds up ....instead of sanding by hand.
I have a problem with mounting that kind lamp on my jeep, so i made mounting bracket in triangular shape, with one side overlap inside triangular shape. So its like you have number 4 with its leg flip inside👍👍
Nothing will ever beat the time you sprayed the headers pink and threw glitter at them. I damn near choked laughing. ..tribute headers? ..even if they're never used and just hung on a wall?
There is one issue with stock A arms, they are not designed for racing. If you can find steel replacements, you will be helping yourself in the future.
You need to invest in a microphone. When the camera is close to you it sounds great, but when you turn away it gets very quiet. Good job on the valve covers. For the headlights. I think the radiator is to big and will cause issues with the headlight wiring or cause damage to the headlight because of the heat. Love watching your projects come along, but very much hate it when you call yourself an idiot because you are not. You have figured out how to do something. It may not be the way others do it, but it works for you and that is what matters. And you take advice from others well. You are doing a good job. Keep the videos rolling.
Your dead on with spraying a tack coat for clear it helps the wet coats stick better or that's how I was taught when I went to tech school for autobody

I'm using universal hot rod coilovers on my c4s around 250 a pair you just have to build your own mounts curios if you could pull it off on the c5 save you 500 ish

The reason why is because the paint is flaking and there’s no primer under it so it’s bare metal. Any recommendations on what kind of primer to use on bare metal surfaces ?

Higher air pressure and wide open fan on apray gun gits better results on clear coats... gun needs at tip pressure at least 22lbs for clear not at trigger or gauge...

Preston to get better tape lines buy several different size rolls of "Fine-Line" painters tape (thin tape like pin-strippers us). I could tell you all the great things it does but like the saying goes talk is cheap.Seriously buy yourself a roll of 1/8" and 1/4" tape and give it a test drive. StaySafe StayHealthy

Get lend of the 3d printer (or buy ender 3 there cheep $200 and ok just got make sure they are big enough as 220mm is max build or you have to join ) to make headlight bezels (just don't use pla as it melts at 180 c if there going get hot ) they sand and paint just like any other plastic colour code them and they not even be seen !!!

I have those same headlights on my nova.....I love em...they are super bright and super dope.....I even had a cop compliment me on them...
Just a thought - You could make pods for the lights to fit in, like a band of metal to move them forwards enough to keep the rad where it is

Move the radiator to the rear, put in an inter-cooler in that sits below the headlight buckets.....win/win.

U can use puck board (poly plastic) to make conversion light inserts u can buy it in many colours can look amazing for 12 bucks

Have you looked at clearancing the calipers? If its a small amount is might solve you wheel issue without putting on spacers.

I've never heard of a transverse leaf spring causing wheel hop. It's not like they get axle wrap like parallel leaf springs.

Have you ever seen or done a camo carbon fiber hydro dip? Or American flag carbon fiber carbon hydro dip?
Just extend the nose of car and you can then also fit intercooler in front and stock head lights

No, as long as the base coat adheres to the primer properly and you let the base coat dry you’ll be fine
