If you have something like a stream deck, you can program markers with comments like b roll or title. Goes better with the flow. My edit time has become 30 percent of what it was with these tools. I have multiple including foot pedals , and about 60 percent of my a roll edit is done by my feet.!

Good eye! I’m still using lights (not a ring light but lights) but I’m working on my color grading skills so it’s a little bit of a learning curve and they’re coming out darker than I’d like

And yes, I buy the best presents for myself as well :) I'm currently suing Premiere Pro and I'm a little tired of the subscription so I'm thinking of getting a Mac and doing FCP. When you film do you set it up so you can see what you're filming on your laptop or desktop? I noticed you could see that your camera wasn't focusing on your mouse buttons.
I am in need of a computer but totally lost when it comes to which kind. I would like to be able to edit on my computer - currently editing on my phone and it's killing me! 😅 Do you have any computer recommendations?

How do I choose the setting for the project if somebody gave me the video and I don´t know which settings they had on their camera?
You can find the settings they shot in in the metadata of the file - you can open in preview or something and see and then use those settings

A Mac with the M1 Max chip - hands down! You’ll never have to replace it - or at least not for a VERY long time and it’ll run like butter
