Can spaces PLEASE have a file repository in drive. Click FILES not just pin a file and you have related documents to the space. Similar to how Microsoft Teams handles files. Spaces is missing this and sorely needs it.
Please continue to add social features (rich links, live empojis, enabiling read reciepts in spaces)! This is actually turning into a pretty useful messaging platform that goes across different operating systems (iPhone, Mac, Chromebooks, Android)
Or at least make a choice… apps on Android and ChromeOS, but truly support WebApps on other platforms through Chrome browser. On macOS the experience is crippled, and the same goes for iPhone and iPadOS… you won’t get all the features or integrations, and when opening the (minimal) mobile web app it even forces you to use the native apps. Google Workspace as a platform should focus more on the user experience and less on Google’s hardware push. Common, even Microsoft is doing a better job nowadays when it comes to web based / cloud apps.

Google chat seems too boring to me as there no option to select custom sounds from the device for messages. Also, it contains only 2 themes, dark and light mode and nothing else. You cannot select any other colorful themes in google chat like skype does (blue, purple, green, orange etc). Google chat needs more improvements.
Seems to be okayish product as of now. Why? 1. The UI doesn't completely follow the Material You design. 2. There is no native desktop application available. 3. The mobile app (android) for me can't search all the available spaces for me to join, whereas, a long list is shown on the web version. 4. There is no pin file functionality yet as mentioned in this video.
