I intend on buying a car like this when I have the money. I've seen them being sold at a bargain with great engines still. Like you, I'll probably do the suspension, tyres, paint, maybe the brakes and a bullbar on the outside. And for the inside, some modern electronic equipment like an mp3 player, a nav system and new seats. Funny thing is, if treated right, this car may very well outlive all of us in the comment section 😂😂

Hi mate I did buy the caster correction bushes with the kit but I didn’t install. I wanted to see how it handled before I made the call to fit that aswell. It rode pretty sweet without. Cheers 👍🏼
Getting it ready for panel shop will save you $ if you have everything and everyone organised you could complete it 3-4 weeks. But you know sometimes things don’t run to plan👍🏼
Hi Mate, I got couple of questions.Is it necessary to put new springs as i was thinking to put bigger rims ,same as yours. Secondly where did you get the front headlights and grill?
Hi mate to fit 16x8 rims with 285x75x16 tyres you need a bit of room under the guards. if your suspension isn’t sagging you might be ok. Best to check with a tyre shop letting them do a visual inspection. Grill is the original I just gave it a polish. Headlight I bought new surrounds off ebay and new headlight protecters. Thanks
Hi mate it took about 4 weeks, spray painters was the time consuming part as it was the biggest job. Everyone involved received advertising on network ten so I don’t have a total figure. It was before covid, ball park figure to do something like that now 25k
