    So many people think just because these guys are in the league they don’t struggle and very few of the players seek help because they don’t want them weak in the public eye. I’m glad he got help and came out of it.

    Mike was really good here in the DC area in the early 2000's. I remember that Draft when his father died. It really set him back like it would any person. Good job bring his story to youtube.

    Thanks for this one. I just remember Sweetney disappearing. Did not know he was dealing with lost and depression. I am so glad he is on the other side of depression working to through it even after a suicide attempt. Great story. Thank you for the awareness.

    Dude was a beast at G-Town back when the Big East was the best conference in college basketball. I'm glad he turned it around and I'm glad he's helping those dealing with depression. Folks don't understand, it takes a strong person to overcome certain things in life, glad to see him doing good.

    Randy Culpepper from Utep was a favorite player of mine when I was in highschool. Nolan Smith and Elliot Williams as well. I always like the guards Portland has drafted but they tend to blossom other places after being buried on the bench(behind quality starters)

    mental support is so important! Several players have struggled with this in the past, and the NBA did not help them properly. The league should be more active in supporting this kind of issues

    Losing your father when your trying to make the transition form kid to adult can leave a young man's life in shambles. A lot of sleepless nights crying alone and questioning meaning of life. Hope everyone suffering from depression doesnt lose the sight of tomorrow and what can be accomplished with it.

    Damn this is a good one. I'm glad he came out on the other side able to help others struggling with suicidal thoughts. A person close to me died from suicide. It leaves a gaping

    I never thought he was going to be anything in the NBA, felt he was another Robert 'Tracker' Traylor or Jahidi White type of player, but his story is very moving. Depression is real, and I'm glad he made it to the other side. Much respect and blessings to him and his family
