A few days ago, we leased my wife a Stealth Grey Y LR RWD 5-seater with a white interior. So with both transactions, we save nearly $33K! So with that said, I think buying new is the better way to go. But maybe not for long if the incentives go away as rumored. Which would be beneficial to newer owners that recently took advantage of the incentives, as we will have some built-in equity.

After using Teslas UI. I find Apple CarPlay and android Auto look very outdated and cheap. Teslas own UI is amazing and you can do anything you want on it that you would need. So I don’t see the obsession with Apple CarPlay.

Where in the heck did you get such an amazing deal on a new Y? Are you in Cali?
I’m in Colorado. We had an $5,600 state incentive for new EV on top of the federal incentive of $7,500. On January 1, it goes down to $3,500.

Install a steering wheel cover, a replacement spoiler, and rubber floor liners. They are cheap and easy to install and clean.

Used is definitely the way to go. The depreciation on those cars is pretty bad. I've seen Model 3s go for as low as 15k at only a few years old.
