I see that I'm not the only one who at listening this theme, always thinks in Star Wars XD. It has an evident John Williams influence on it. One of the best music of all the game, its a pity that it is only played in one stage.
I like how Act 1 is all depressing and melancholy and makes you feel like "You've almost beaten the game." Then Act 2 is all exciting and upbeat, making you determined to beat the last stage and face the final boss (after facing all of the Act 2 bosses again)

There's a game in the works for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC called "Smelter" with a very similar premise with the action/simulation combo.
They are coming out with an Actraiser game soon
