I've always been told that you must have a balanced diet to make your life healthier (which includes mixing different kinds of foods such as carbs, protein, and vegetables into your meals). Although I understood that you need to do it to be healthy, it wasn't really something I was keen on doing especially since I didn't like eating my veggies since I was a kid. I'd usually just eat rice and meat. But what he said made so much sense and made me realize something so simple. Too much of anything is bad. As he said, Vegetables (although healthy) are actually there to help you lessen eating more carbs or fats and vice versa, making sure you don't 'overeat' anything. I feel so stupid yet thankful that I learned this. For someone like me who doesn't really like eating vegetables until now, this logic really helps me and motivates me to eat right. Thank you so much for this. I'm super happy I found this TH-cam channel and this amazing professional.
I LOVE fruits, but I dislike a lot of veggies, too... you can try and stock up on veggies you like (baby-cut carrots are fun and crunchy!) or drink orange-carrot juice (unsweetened), etc.
With my cultural background, breads and rice are staples. I decided cutting these out is stupid. They're not intrinsically bad food - I just need to limit how much of it I eat. I tried cutting out bread and rice and after 4 days I binged and ate muffins and crisps. I also realized not enough salt makes me crave more food. I cut out the junk and got miserable - an apple with the tiniest sprinkling of salt stopped my crisps craving. I realize even though I'm trying to lose weight, I'm being stupid thinking I can go from an unhealthy diet to a clean diet in a week - its going to take some time to adjust. A muffin won't kill me as long I don't eat them all the time.
@@BigO161107Why wouldn't it? I've gone from 93 to 81 KG in less than half a year and still have daily sweet snacks (like six gummi bears, or 2 Biscoff biscuits, or dark chocolates...), it's slow, but works well! When I used to have a slice of cake once a week or so (I no longer like cafe cakes, so it's more like... a tkramisu cup once a month or two), my HBa1c became 4.6, it's excellent, when before that, I seemed to be in the prediabetic zone, now, it's excellent! (Normal range: 3.8-5.6, diabetics try to stay under 6.5)
I'm an athlete and I had recently started tracking my caloric intake and wanted to lean out so I went into a deficit, but I'm so hungry all the time especially right after a meal. I eat about 1.1-1.2 grams of protein per lb a day and I also believe I'm getting enough fiber, about 50-60 grams a day (I'm 6'1 160-165). I haven't tried eating a bunch of energy dense foods with a lot of water content so hopefully that will help. But I guess my body is an enigma, becasue the only thing that makes me not feel hungry IS when I eat fast (processed) foods. I'm assuming maybe its the only thing that fills me up as it does have the most calories, but I found it odd that they're supposed to not satiate you. Anyway, thanks for the video!
Same but you maybe lean but I’m a big man, right after I eat a meal I feel hungry after like an hour or less like my stomach starts to growl and All sort of stuff so I just think to myself I have to wait another 6 hours till I have my next damn meal and the same thing keeps on happening over and over until I lose control and just fill myself up and have to start all over again it’s stupid. Protein, fiber and water doesn’t really help like at all but food more on calories. this is just something I want to share, ps your really lucky your at that state
💀 why dis is so accurate, i am dieting with high protein intake with lots of fiber,im satieted AF, i do dis because its expensive in my country of healthy high fat foods,
Mentioning nuts & seeds as high fiber yes . But eating them regularly while trying to maintain or establish a calorie deficit , for most people = hell no. As they are super high In calories .
@@rkirwan1 yea that’s why I mentioned most people, as they are not getting coached. One handful can demolish that days workout or diet. I would imagine it’s the one food group people include to “ eat healthy “ but have no idea how calorie dense they really are. I certainly wouldn’t use them as good foods to help you feel full , . Although including small amounts for healthy fats & so on I understand .
Any other particle physicists out here wondering why they used a beta minus decay Feynmann diagram for 'Leptin'? 😭 I think someone confused it for 'Lepton'

Solid advice that isn’t being screamed in my face or a bunch of weird steps? I like this guy.
Exactly the video I needed at this moment when I’m hungry but over my calorie limit 😂😂

Count your cals and eat whatever you want. It really makes it easier
Did you succeed with that mentality? This comment is a year old and I’m curious if your “a muffin now and then” mentality worked😂

@@pinokosthewifea lot of people don’t succeed. That’s why. I haven’t and I’ve tried many tkmes
I can listen to him speak all day. He explains things so well and his accent is a plus🙌🏾

Fruits and vegetables really do fill you up ... they have so much water that's why.
High-quality video! Nice scientific explanations, too.
For anyone young-ish, relatively fit and healthy this is good advice.
I just need to stop treating myself to chocolate cookie at night 😅
awesome stuff as always!!
Very helpful. Thank you.
Love your video’s !!!😍😍😍
💀 why dis is so accurate, i am dieting with high protein intake with lots of fiber,im satieted AF, i do dis because its expensive in my country of healthy high fat foods,
Makes sense. Thanks.
I like this man!!! OMG I'd eat so much junk and never feel full. I thought there was something wrong with me. 😟 Brilliant info!!!!
Am I the only one that think he moves like a robot 😂, thanks for the tips!

As with any food, it all depends on the quantity. I still manage to incorporate some nuts/seeds into many of my weigth loss clients diets.

This Guy makes me feel like I'm not moving my hands enough...
I try and two servings of vegetables each day. A large salad or a large amount of asparagus does the trick.
Am trying to eat less and exercise more but i feel hungry so fast .
Great stuff
Great video
Why do you show a Feynman diagram about particle physics when talking about Leptin?
I think someone searched for “lepton” instead of “leptin”.
@@ryanroebuck42 oh yeh, I found the exact image he used by googling Lepton 😂
Very nice all in theory. In fact i eat a rich protein an fibre diet and I still always hungry
Another top video 👏 i have lost 67lb since September- the key 100% is protein 💪 - MyProtiene Blueberry Cheesecake Whey Powder is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice work!
Awesome work man!!!
Higher dairy intake? What about the lactose intolerant over here? 🙋♀️
Its 8:30 pm and i just reached my calorie limit
Any other particle physicists out here wondering why they used a beta minus decay Feynmann diagram for 'Leptin'? 😭 I think someone confused it for 'Lepton'
yes
typed in lepton diagram then snatches the 3rd picture from google lol
How is a beta-decay related to leptin again?
doesn't high protein diet affect your kidney in the longer term? Also, eating too much red meat can cause colon cancer.
jar of beetroot 👍
thats strange, caffeine always makes me hungry
I thought low fat dairy products were less healthy/contain more sugar than full fat?
Just be careful about dairy as it can be inflammatory and also bad for men as too much may be linked to prostate cancer
Smoke!
