Amazing artwork. Not only did you improve on something A man with art experience charged for money, You gave to us for free. With no comments on Butch. I appreciate it.
Yeah, I absolutely think he traced the Ranma drawing. I think he only heavily referenced for the Dib drawing because the general proportions are ass on his version. If he’d leaned more into his own drawing style (yes, I know show designs were usually finalized by Stephen Silver, though Butch Hartman can clearly draw, albeit not the way people seem to expect despite plenty of examples), maybe it could have turned out somewhat better. I think he had no confidence in doing a Dib drawing of his own and that was a huge mistake because he also can’t draw in Jhonen Vasquez’s style and certainly not in the cleaned up Invader Zim style. I get that people mostly seem to buy this stuff because it’s Butch Hartman (why is beyond me, since he’s proven himself to be an awful person time and again), but it feels like he doesn’t put effort into a lot of his newer stuff in particular. Part of it could be moving to digital, but then maybe that should be a sign to keep doing traditional for commissions until he has a proper grasp on how to work with a new medium.
You Dib redraw ooks like an emo version of Timmy Turner. The character that you redraw at 0:44 - 0:45 looked really great, and it shows that you're pretty talented. You should maybe charge $200 for your commisions ;)
I’ve been doing a lot of studying about the world of TV animation and it is my belief that all his characters have always been these quick sketches and animators had to later apply the rules of the look/style of each world on to them.
His drawing of Ranma is pretty cool, regardless of how Butch is personality wise it just seems like people are jealous that he can get 200 bucks for a drawing.
Why did Dib become even uglier than how Jhonen designed him?? Dib isn’t even that ugly, but he became a 12 year old’s ‘eViL sIdE oF dIb’ fanart when Butch inserted himself into the equation.
btw his dib commission was actually taken from his video where he drew invader zim characters in his style. if you look at it, they're uncannily similar

Why is Butch using people??? it makes me sick. You Nailed those drawings! they actually look like they would fit in the Fairy odd parents or Danny Phantom universe!
I’m just at such a lost for words at how this even happens...how does his drawing skills regress that much... his drawling style isn’t even that complicated i’m speechless
So if I want a custom commission of a character in Butch Hartman's style, is to go to any professional artist, other than Butch Hartman himself? Yeah that makes sense 😅
Yeah I'm at a loss for words too-! Only thing I can say is that the pictures you drew look so much better. I'd honestly rather settle for a style-imitated drawing than pay _that_ much money for art from a guy who's honestly not even that famous.
As an artist myself I would just like to say: If the drawings are traced, shame on Butch If they are referenced, that's fine, but there is practically no creativity to them. If the commissions were just "draw me this character", then I understand the problems coming up with a different pose, but at least have SOME creativity when drawing a character, instead of looking like a lesser version of the originals. While the argument can be made that the $200 price can be because it's from a famous person and you are paying partly for that recognition, I would rather pay $200 for a basic pose that at least looks like more than 10 minutes was put into it and isn't a lazy redraw. Note: I'm not saying this about all his commissions, some of the few others I've seen are actually pretty decent (though I still wouldn't pay $200 for one), these are egregiously bad.

Part of it could be moving to digital, but then maybe that should be a sign to keep doing traditional for commissions until he has a proper grasp on how to work with a new medium.
nice redraws!! you literally deserve the 200$ than butch, ur far way more tallented!!
Butch Hartman: Someone redrew commissions in my style and gave them away for free! The audacity!
YandereDev: Welcome to the club.
Finally, somebody drew it in the ACTUAL Fairly OddParents style.
*Danny Phantom Style.
@@MrParkerman6 They’re both the same artstyle
You Dib redraw ooks like an emo version of Timmy Turner. The character that you redraw at 0:44 - 0:45 looked really great, and it shows that you're pretty talented. You should maybe charge $200 for your commisions ;)
The hero we needed but didn’t deserve
"Hey, Butch, i fixed your art!!! (insert heart emoji or something-)"
Great job tho! :D
I’ve been doing a lot of studying about the world of TV animation and it is my belief that all his characters have always been these quick sketches and animators had to later apply the rules of the look/style of each world on to them.
honestly, at this point you're literally just paying for his Signature
Wait, dudeeee 0:45
You drew that??? That’s fnckin awesome!! That would sell really well as a poster! I would legit buy that.
that ran chan one actually looks pretty good-
“he traced it”
*oh*
His drawing of Ranma is pretty cool, regardless of how Butch is personality wise it just seems like people are jealous that he can get 200 bucks for a drawing.
Why did Dib become even uglier than how Jhonen designed him??
Dib isn’t even that ugly, but he became a 12 year old’s ‘eViL sIdE oF dIb’ fanart when Butch inserted himself into the equation.
gave me hepatitis
Dib always looked so damn cute for me i-
This is amazing. Butch should feel ashamed and horrible right now, seeing that you mastered his art style more than himself!
Man, I love these! They look amazing. I hope the commissioners find them.
that’s actually really nice of you to redraw these for free. respect 100
This looks delightful. Better than fartman’s own work. Great job!
BROOOOO! YOUR REDRAWS ARE REALLY ACCURATE TO BUTCH’S ARTSTYLE (unlike Hartman’s actual commissions)
Your the real Butch Hartman
Ok the dib one you drew is actually adorable
0:54
✨don't by shy, attack him 🥺✨
Bless your soul for doing this, I have no reason to salute Butch for being the cold hearted artist that he is...
btw his dib commission was actually taken from his video where he drew invader zim characters in his style. if you look at it, they're uncannily similar
You are doing good work my dude. The Ranma one looked great. I still think the angle of Embers body looks weird but at least she looks like herself.
That actually looks like his art style
Dude, these are so good! It didn’t know about the whole thing about Butch’s commissions and somebody showed me these drawings, I probably would’ve mistaken yours as the official ones and the commissions as some fan art
Dude this looks awesome I’m never commissioning butch that dude can go fly of a mountain you sire are the true artist
Now THAT'S the art style that is meant to look like! That is amazing, dude. 😃
Is this the exact equivalent of spending a lot of money in an ugly/basic piece of clothing because of the brand name?
Damn I'm glad someone actually likes drawing his art style. I grew up watching FOP and DF, To be honest your way more talented then he is. Great work!
Last year people ,,fixing” character designs from original artist, but fix them into an abomination
This year people actually fixing character designs from original artist
*cough* ,,I am NOT starfire” *cough*
You did our boi right, the iz fans thank you for your sevices
Great job man! I absolutely love it! Man, Butch has definitely dropped in quality.. 😂
DIB IN FAIRLY ODD PARENTS STYLE IS MY NEW FAVORITE THING
Yikes, that Dib Butch drew looks like something a kid would draw. That background! Has he ever got his eyes check for some kind of colour blindness?
Right!? It reminds me of when I used to copy pokemon drawings as a kid.
ikr! And Dib isnt even in the center of the damn drawing. Thats like the easiest part! He really did put zero effort into this 😐 definitely not worth 200 dollars
Man I was bewildered by how horrible the drawings were that I didn’t even notice how plain and poorly done all the backgrounds are
gave me hepatitis

Everyone = Show me the Style we want.
Butch = My new style.
Random Artist = The one People deserved
Even I don't trace their art, I just look at their design as reference and draw it at my own style and looks
For a second i thought you were useing Butchs art then i realised it was yours amazing work man
Why is Butch using people??? it makes me sick.
Get it waaaay cheaper as well xD
Pp
Yeah I'm at a loss for words too-! Only thing I can say is that the pictures you drew look so much better. I'd honestly rather settle for a style-imitated drawing than pay _that_ much money for art from a guy who's honestly not even that famous.
I don't think he traced more like heavy referencing, which still not a good thing to do when doing commission. even if it's a fanart
He did Dib dirty ngl- 💀
As an artist myself I would just like to say:
If the drawings are traced, shame on Butch
If they are referenced, that's fine, but there is practically no creativity to them.
Butch's new artsyle is like someone did a meat canyon parody of his shows
