The concept of swear words is... Stupid as is, but completely boycotting a show because a character said "hell"? They probably get mad at a lot of other non issues too and make mountains of molehills, making them a very likely Karen

As a kid, I had a friend who couldn't watch (nor read, for that matter) Harry Potter because of the witches.
He had a PS3 in, like, 2010, and the only game he had and was allowed to play was _The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian_ . He played the same level over and over. And he looked so excited whenever he played that _again_ . I seriously think his parents broke him somehow. It's like he lived in the book _1984_ , but Christian.

I didn't even know the true reason the show got cancelled or postponed. Thomas Astruc worked on this show and he is now working on Miraculous Ladybug so i assumed that's why there isn't a season 3. Anyway, if it's a French show, why would they care what the Americans think? lol They can still make the show and we can watch in French with eng subs ^^

I dont know if you saw, but the official tumblr actually saw your video and made a response!! The short version of it is that they never got word from the higher ups if season three was good to go, and after waiting for so long the team had to work on other products (because, you know, money) and was quietly disbanded. They were never outright cancelled so theres still a chance a season three may come in the future, but that's the situation as of when that was posted.

More importantly, Americans, espically parents, are so trigger happy against all of media due to there being psychological studies done a few decades ago showing that children that are exposed to more violence on TV are prone to being more violent against other children and adults, as compared to those that don’t. However, I would argue that the impact is not as great as we previously found and that 1. Watching under parental supervison helps prevent violence from having a harmful effect and 2. There is less harm if they are not watching violent things constantly, every day and most of their hours.

I was reading Of Mic and Men is a old children because I never read old children books (my school have their own set of books ) and suprise the n word was use. I'm 19 and never been more suprise than that.
Maria Zapata I’ve read Jane Eyre before, and it mentions the n word there too. The reason is just because it wasn’t viewed as an inappropriate word at the time (it was still used as an insult, but black people didn’t have rights so it was thought of as okay to use).

Gracekim21 if you read the tumblr crew notes, they talked about how they were only guaranteed 2 seasons and a third was never mentioned by executives. Even if it was or popular enough to get another season, animation crews often write cliffhangers as sequel bait instead just wrapping up the main story even when they know the show is ending. If it was canceled, then I’d be more forgiving
StarrySkylar they do that because it helps raise interest and convince the execs that they need another season. It gives them the leverage of “but the fans need a conclusion! They’re so interested in finding out about the (insert cliffhanger revelation here)! They’ll be upset if we don’t get another season!”

Lolirock really reminded me of all the shows I'ved liked over the years. MLP, Totally Spies, Horseland, Sailor Moon, Sanrio, SVTFOE, Miraculous ladybug, etc etc. So when I saw it on youtube I was like "this seems so childish but...it speaks to me."
I ended up liking it a lot, it had this nostalgic feel to it, it was just really fun. I left off on season 1, heck, I didn't even know there was a season 2! I'll have to binge that now :)

Actually, smoothness does not a good animation make. As an animation student, I know how back-breaking it is to animate every single frame on ones, and i actually was thinking that it wasn't half bad, for something that was animated (likely)on adobe flash??? Animating on 2s looks really good if you are a good animator. Nothing has to be smooth to be good. It has to be understood. The animator just has to be good at using the 12 principles. I was thinking it was slightly better animation than the g3 my little pony show. I mean. It's not like this show was going to get beautifully hand drawn work, like in Sailor Moon, or Avatar TLA. But i digress. Don't say an animation is off because it's not smooth. 60 fps on hand drawn animation is g a r ba ge and actually ruins the animationnnn. It's meant only for video games and sports. And whatever sacrilege people love to commit on hand drawn work. Choppy is cool. Look at Miles Morales! He was intentionally animated just so he would look like stop motion.

Oh man they actually understood what made Sailor Moon good ?? For the most part. A lot of the story beats seem to really follow along w Sailor Moon’s but it’s definitely unique and not a 1:1 copycat. It makes the Usagi cameo kinda pay off.

I swear, either all the good shows like the ORIGINAL Monster High or Teen Titans get “Remade” and get changed into a terrible nightmare completely changing the characters behaviors or shows that are like Ever After High or Lolirock get stopped or shut down because of parents complaining for things that no one notices or even gets bothered by other than them. For example, MH was apparently too scary and TT was too dark for children. EAH was very realistic with their doll molds and LR had something to do with a phrase no one remembers Talia saying. These shows were mostly for teens or even kids of the ages 10+, why should it matter unless if they start on cursing real bad words every five seconds!
PS: this is my opinion, anyone who wants to agree or argue with me just comment and leave in a polite manner. Thank you, if you followed the instructions.

So people really started comparing Lolirock to Miraculous. However the Miraculous fandom is really falling apart right now, and I think if they put Lolirock back on U.S. Netflix they’d get a lot more views. A minor issue is that the Lolirock TH-cam page has the entire show for free right now. (I think it literally has all the episodes) I loved the aesthetic of this show, the transformation sequences are a work of art and overall the characters are really enjoyable. In any case it has much better plot and character development than compared to what miraculous has devolved into so ya. Anyway, thanks for posting this, I love Lolirock and I’m so happy to see that someone is giving it the praise it deserves.
It’s funny how just now people are waking up to the fact that Miraculous is lowkey garbage I knew that before the season 1 finale.
lisa frank I truly believe the concept is good in theory, especially in the assumed projections of character growth, however in execution it is quite a let down.

The Miraculous fandom is not falling apart, but the show and the creator itself. The creator is a jerk and the characters are becoming their own stereotypes (mostly Marinette).

Also, in a recent discussion in Twitter, where the fandom are claiming to see Chat Noir as a "true hero" more often, not just as a "clumsy partner" (mostly of the fandom agrees that Adrien is a really strong and deep character and he can be even more developed, and this includes more time on the screen and be able to solve thing by himself, not just depends to Ladybug to solve things), but the creator said that "he won't do this because this is a show where a girl is the main characters and by doing that he will not show an 'enpowered girl'".

I started this show, and have not gotten around to finishing it, simply because I heard its one of those shows where there is not much development between the fmc and the love interest. But it does have more character development than other magical girl shows, say, like, Miraculous... so I'll maybe give it another try

It makes me sad because I'm 24 years old and I love the show and my sister is 7 and she loves the songs and the show as well. It was something we loved to bond over and I would encourage her to dance and sing to the songs and we would talk about our favorite princess. When I heard season 3 was not coming out I was so disappointed because this was the one show I wouldnt mind rewatching for the 50th time and my sister asks me when season 3 comes out everytime we rewatch the 1st & 2nd season. Makes me sad a bunch of assholes ruined it.
