Before turning it into a skirt please just try washing your burberry trench in the washing machine on cold (and air dry)! The fabric will be able to handle it and washing powder is way more effective at getting out that kind of stain than dry cleaning is

I think is possible to recover your trench coat by soaking it in water with a lot of white vinegar and baking soda a couple days, then machine wash, then soak the stain with pharmacy peroxide, then hand wash the stain with soap, machine wash again, air dry and after that take it to the dry cleaners to remove wrinkles. I’m Mexican and have been thrifting for almost 20 years, often second hand clothes here stink and/or have stains, this techniques almost always resolve. Also I avoid dry cleaners chemicals. You can repeat the process with peroxide if the stain persists.
BUT if the clothing has metal, you only can soak it in vinegar for a few hours at a time.

I finally got a my long wool coat from ebay ! I’m literally obsessed. I just measured the lengths the sellers list against my body to make sure it’s long enough.. easier to find if you size up

is the quality of the pilgrim pieces good? like do they stain or tarnish? can I wear them in the shower ?
Personally yes !! I think it’s some of the best plated jewellery quality I’ve seen, their stuff has never broken on me. All their jewellery is plated with either 24k solid gold or sterling silver, so with all plated it’s advised against getting it wet as this will speed up the oxidisation and make it tarnish 💞💞hope that helps
