Very timely! My 8 month old dual axle utility trailer has been dragging the front wheel on the driver's side and perhaps the passenger side as well. I tried and tried adjusting my way out of that problem. No success. Guess I need to to look at ride height. I was purposely pulling it a little high because the tongue jack always drags at the bottom end of the driveway. I may need to solve this issue with a new swing-away tongue jack. More important for the trailer to ride level. Thanks for the vid!
Very good info. I am not sure if you made a video about trailer level. I see lots of trailers on the road where the tongue is high 8 inches plus. Can you talk about the importance of proper ride height? Already talked about it here but in a bit more detail.

I have seen where a grease seal has failed and covered the brake shoes with grease. That makes them really grabby in my experience! It may not be in your line of expertise, but maybe a video of installing E-Track in the floor and on the sides of an enclosed trailer that only has 1/4” paneling on the interior! And how best to use the E-Track attachments! Have a Happy New Year. And thank you much for the videos. Tom
Just a sad story. I man I worked with. His brother in law, driving along, killed. Coming the other way a trailer. The trailer driver had a tyre fail but having some expensive gear on it decided to try driving home on three wheels … I kid you not. Please look after your trailer mechanical stuff, saving money is costly. The trailer driver did jail time for it. Story number two …. I was wrecking a car and a neighbour asked if he could have the old rims and tyres for his horse float. So, you have horses and an expensive Mercedes and you’re willing to risk all that on some perished tyres from a wreck? False economy!

My 2016 Suburban has the receiver mounted in the bumper. I use an 8 inch drop when loaded.
