The sweet spot on the Gravity line is shifted towards the tip. Your backhamd contact point on the bed seemed central or sometimes a bit lower towards the throat. I think that's the issue. I loved the Gravity on my one-handed, but my contact is generally higher on the bed.
My singles opponent I play once a week uses the Head Gravity 104 sq in I think it's the 270 gram tennis racquet and I tried one out but found it doesn't handle heavy topspin and heavy shots against me at all well. Finally knowing that Head is a good brand for quality, I went with the Head Speed MP 500, 300 gram, 100 sq in head size and after a time of using it, I think it's the way to go, it helps you to hit the ball properly with full hits, and isn't an issue with any kind of playing style against it.
My tension of choice. If you demo just use your tension of your choice. You want to keep as many things as similar as possible when demoing so you can feel the differences.
hello I have been using gamma big bubba 137 sq in for my entire 15 yr tennis career do you recommend switching to wilson pro staff 85 i’am trying to have it stuck up at 90 with lux alu power I have had many problem with tennis elbow and I am worried
I believe it's often referred to as ball pocketing regarding your issue with the Rad mp... very much a control feature even though slightly confused me when you then followed up with "trampoline effect' because trampolining is generally not "hanging onto or staying on the string bed" as you inferred but instead is bouncing off with uncontrolled momentum ..no grab ... your somewhat similar overview of the Head lineup has me leaning toward Yonex lol
Im a 3.0 -3.5 player (playing for 2,5 years, once a week just with a friend - no competitive yet). 33year old male. I like to hit big from the baseline more, than rushing through the net. I’m trying to play with spin but I’m not the best spin player of my technique. So if I try to hit winners, I often shoot em too flat and they are going too long - out. I’m actually playing the 2023 head extreme mp, because I thought „if I’m not good enough to generate spin with a good technique, maybe the extreme mp can help me with it. But now I’m thinking, maybe I need a more control friendly racket. I’m thinking of the speed or the gravity line. But I don’t know which is better for me and which model i should take (MP, Tour, Pro of gravity or speed) What do you suggest me to get?
Hi man, I'm using 1.25mm slinko confidential right now but I break them after 4 hours of playing, do you recommend I put on a thicker string or some other string that you recommend that can last me longer? thank you very much, your videos are great
@@MPTennis i use the new extreme tour with the confidential at 24kg 1'25mm, i play regional and some nacional tournaments, but i cant afford restring evry two trainings... Thx for your reconendation.
I couldn't get my hands on one. This video is based on the 4 I was able to demo. Should still help a lot of people with their decision making. Thanks for watching!
Nice video! I started last year with the Extreme MP Light. Now I want it to be a bit heavier. What do you suggest I do to up the weight so it resembles an MP?
Confidential is too firm in the radical imo. Softer polys at lower tension is where it's at. Twist weight is also high so I it won't really help spin if you add lead lower on the frame.
Not sure I want more power than the Auxetic Extreme Tour. I like to swing away and dictate the amount of power put into a shot. So I find larger, more powerful rackets don't really fit my game well. If anything, I would be more likely to demo a couple 97 or 95 inch rackets if I ever decided to change.
Guess the Prestige MP apparently didn't make the cut....Interesting specs on that one w/the 18/19 SP, mid 330's SW & 21.5mm BW in a 99 head size. So prolly more of a Selective rather than Ultimate Head MPs review with this post imo.
Well tried em all (+1) and... where is the Boom mp ?! I know you didnt manage to have one... But sadly, it may be the one for most of people 😉 Your video could have waited a bit tonbe released and be complete...
There is no point in reviewing a racquet after modifying it. Modification change racquets and nobody is interested to listen to your review of your personalized racquet.
Tried HEAD Babolat Wilson for years. HEAD has been nothing but headaches for me. It is because of the stupid flatter grip causing me to mishit MOST of the time, god damn Going back to Wilson or Babolat Screw HEAD forever.
Play with gravity mp now. Two handet backhand. This is amazing racket. Huge sweetspot , power and control. Much better than boom

Low powered though. Very good feel and control.
Thanks!
Thank you for watching! And thanks for the superthanks.
I appreciate the effort and info. What I dont get is why the most significant racquet . . the Prestiges are not included.

How would you compare the Radical MP and the Solinco Whiteout 98 16x19? Thanks
In stock form I think the radical is more controlled imo. I also perfer the grip size/shape on radical
Bruh...it's me again. Clean that overgrip on that racquet on the wall. LOL
He's just showing us why we shouldn't use white overgrips.
Lmao, you wrong for that
Hi! What string type and tension did you use for these demos?

There’s always toroline or restring zero. I’d try those along with the grapplesnake strings
I would say try a 16g to start. What kind of racquet do you use and what is your level?

Disagree! Head speed pro MP is OP!

Ya i just didn't get to try that one.
What about the Prestige?
I didn’t try the new mp
Wheres the Head Instinct MP and Prestige MP in this line up?
Wasn't able to get my hands on them for a demo. This is my list based on the MP's I have tested.

This freaking inconsistent trampoline effect is infecting all head frames. great for all tennis elbow maybe.
Prestige ist missing
The pingy noise is to intimidate the opponent.
If you change the weight then it's not really an mp anymore!
