For everyone saying Noelle should've entered the Knights instead, I'm pretty sure Jean isn't accepting her because she'll just overwork herself to death. As for why the Mondstadt Knights suck, if you don't know already, it's because 80% of all Knights and all of the cavalry is being carried by Grandmaster Varka in an expedition, leaving the D class ones left.

Yeah but where did they get the corpse, it couldn't been taken out of a graveyard since the Millelith would've connected the dots also the "cuase of death" was a fall which may hint to the girl's boyfriend being the responsible for the unknow girls actual death

the difference between Yikuo and Bruce is that Bruce is literally slacking off 24/7, while Yikuo was just taking a (maybe?) short break and we coincidentally bothered him. poor Yikuo

Love how npc’s can range from light hearted to downright dark. Makes Genshin Impact feel like it is an actual place with real people. Not everything is happy and it is so carefully planned as well. In the day everyone is doing their thing acting normal but at night is where it all takes shape and you can see what is really going on behind the scenes. It truly is amazing how they pull this off and most of the player base don’t know about it.
I love how the npc all have their own story, and that they actually get updated too. Like Anna and her brother. I hope lan can find that razor one day too.

The missing razor is actually found while on commision where the head asks you to rescue a cat NW of Liyue, which you will fight a Geo Lawachurl. After that, you'll find both the cat and the sword

Also, you can ask a Millelith near the board shown in this video about the incident, he says something about the water pollution problem. These are the things that are related to the couple but not shown in the vid

The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor probably helped with that so maybe (hopefully) Hu Tao's story quest will get a second act on Halloween?

I think there's a reason why Jean haven't made Noelle a knight, remember that Noelle went to Dragon spine to save an adventurer and also carried the poor lad to Mondstat, keep in mind it is hundred of miles away. Then she got sick and everyone in the Knight of Fevonius was so worried. I think Jean intentionally didnt knight her and gave her small tasks so Noelle won't endanger herself again.
Jean literally got ill for overworking and then wanted to chase an abyss alone in that state. Talk about irony.

The fact that varka only left 1 captain for the knight is so dumb (Eula work far away from the city while albedo always at dragonspine,so they dont count). Dont need to bring all the elite. Whats so dangerous about expedition anyways? I doubt that it is more important than saving your city from a dragon that about to wipe its whole existence. 🤷♂️

Noelle is just too good for the Knights, in a bad way. It's said in a story that they had to distract her during the Stormterror attack because she 100% would've tried to 1v1 a dragon by herself. If she joined the Knights she'd be worse than Jean and probably end up dead because she'd take on too great of a challenge.
She can't read situations and probably end up taking a big risk that ends up killing her now I'm happy that Jean isn't accepting her otherwise she'd probably take a risk that ends up getting her killed

I don't know why many dislike the Knight of Favonius. I know they are not perfect but only Bruce is only the bad apple of the group.
During the Unreconciled Stars even with their lack of manpower, the knights manage to immediately mobilize a team to help the victim and assess the damage while the Millelith took time to muster a team.
Harry who was stationed on the Stormbearer Point is constantly helping the merchant traveling to the area and gathering information for the knight. During the Unreconciled Stars, it was hinted that he destroyed multiple camps before we arrive.
Mack who always guard the two kids, Will and Jill, in the beach to make sure they are safe. During the Unreconciled Event, he was ordered to return back but he was hesitant because of the children. If the two didn't return, Mack would also stay.
Riesse who was stationed in the Dragonspine always warned adventurers to be careful when climbing the mountain and he gave as a commission to put supplies on some designated location for any lost adventures.
The Knight also manages to repel multiple invasions from the Abyss order even with their quantity
During the Dvalin incident, they manage to calm down the citizen of Mondstat.
Godwin never intended to lose his keepsake from Glory. And you know how important for Godwin to be part with Varka's expedition when you talk to Glory. But, he rather continues searching for the lost item, than join the expedition. During the Unreconciled Stars, he even urge us the Traveler to return back to Mondstat. He even clearly stated that he could take down all the enemy camp by himself but he needs to be cautious because he was not strong.
Hertha who is not a vision holder manage to climb the position of a captain. All the captain we know so far are vision holder Kaeya, Albedo, and Eula. They have gender equality in their faction and Arundolyn the previous Grand Master was also not a vision holder but manage to climb his rank through his skill and merit.
If you have a conversation with the Knight, they will always greet you while the majority of the Millelith would shoo you away. Millelith even have a member who are just sitting, hiding in a tower, reading books, lost their weapon, sick and always hungry compare to one lazy drunkard.
I haven’t done the event cuz I played right after dragonspin ended but damn. I just realized some of the millith are lazy sh*t heads

I'm guessing people came to dislike it because of the whole thing with Diluc's backstory on the manga (to sum up, his father died fighting a beast, but the knights didn't wanted it to get public because the population should think that the knights are the ones taking care of the city. To Diluc this made his father's action be generally in vain).
It makes me think, if somehow the protagonist solved the Dvalin issue without the help of the knights (I mean, without becoming a honorary knight), would they let us go as the one who solved stuff? Or would they pull something similar to get credibility with the citizens?

Why hating the Knight of Favonius? Millelith is even worst than the Knights. Only Bruce is the bad apple of the group. Most of them are guarding the Mondstat city day and night and always greet you when you talk to them compare to Millelith who always shoo you away. During the Unreconciled Stars event, the Knight immediately dispatch the team to take care of the victims while the Millelith took time to mobilize. Even with few numbers, they manage to subdue an invasion by the Abyss Order and Hilicurl multiple times. During the Unreconciled Star, Harry who was stationed on the Stormbearer Points and the event clearly stated that Harry destroyed some monster camps in the area by himself, Mack didn't leave the two children in the beach making sure they are safe even though there was an order for the Knights to return, Godwin who decided that finding his lost keepsake first from her lover Glory than joining the expedition and during the same event. He even aware that he was not strong but if he is careful he can take care of the camps by himself. They also manage to calm the people during the Dvalin incident. Riesse who was stationed in the Dragonspine always warned any adventurer who tried to climb and there is event a daily commission that he gave to make sure that adventurers would have food when climbing. And, Varka took the majority of the knights for his expedition

You could also go fish blasting in some small ponds in Liyue and Mondstadt. Klee, Sucrose and Kaeya do a great job with it and I bet many more characters too :)

I always try to be positive with the prospect that Varka take all the most competent knights on the expedition and that remains in monstadt is newbies with no guidance. But then the expedition was supposed to contain Godwin and I lost all hope in the knights.
Edit: So I didn't know the whole story on Godwin, didn't know he had a part in unreconciled stars. So my earlier statement is wrong about Godwin. But i still think the knights currently in monstadt is kinda incompetent.
Why hating Godwin and the Knights? It not like he intends to lose the keepsake from Glory. He would rather continue searching for it than joining the expedition. During the Unreconciled Star, he even urge the Traveler to return back to the Mondstat for our protection. He even clearly stated that he could wipe out the entire monster camp if he is careful.
Godwin seems like a good boy at best clumsy and ashamed. Glory needs a vision tho.
Godwin only stayed back because he had lost the keepsake glory gave him at the gate of Favonius but by the time he found it grandmaster varka had already left

Everybody talking about how noelle deserves it (to be a knight) more than bruce, and that is true.
BUT i think in noelles stories it talks about how jean doesnt want noelle to get hurt outside of mondstadt. So jean is not gonna let her go until she is of a higher age.
I dont understand how bruce would be, but he just patrols around mondstadt and doesnt go out into the wild to fight, which is what noelle wants to do. And in the story quests noelle was always nervous and interpreted things differently, which could be a misunderstanding between nations

Also: in one commission, with Timmie's father Draff, where you have to "scare away" some boars: if you use diluc ult on the boars, Draff's dialogue will be something along the lines of "why did you try scaring them away using a flaming meat cleaver!!!!"

The fact that noelle tries so hard to become a knight but is just a maid when Bruce does nothing makes me understand diluc.
