Farming daily artifacts I found an optimal route from the Pale Flame/Millelith Artifacts Domain to the tent on the west (which spawns 1-2 Artifacts every 24h) - if you walk along the border of the cliff, you can slip past both the Shaman and the two guards, even though if you are literally walking beside them (because they are looking ahead) ! On the other hand, when farming Crystals in the small cave near the Viridescent/Maiden Artifact Domain, if you reach the Magic Crystal nearest to the exit and start hacking it, IMMEDIATELY the Shield Midichurl outside notices you and starts charging... even though he is waaay over there. Creatures have a Field of View (sometimes strange ones like in those examples) and if we don't cross them we can avoid the fights.
@@NyuuMikuru1 basically if you're out of line of sight in some instances, you can be basically right behind some enemies and they wont detect you. This works with Hilichurls, and maybe treasure hoarders.
And it's always Paimon that tries to convince us to fight them when there's a random encounter. You know, the same Paimon whose hairpin is strangely similar to the runes of the Unknown God... whose dress' sleeves bear resemblance to some of the pillars in Celestia (they can be seen in the Start Menu)... and whose headdress looks like the rings above the Petrified Trees into the Domains...
Paimon has the name of a Goetia KING, while Morax is a commander, Barbatos is only a duke. Recently Bal is another King and she is the archon of eternity

Not all, hydro slimes can survive in water, oceanid apparitions walk on top of it, cryo slimes and abyss mages cant be knocked underwater cause they create ice sheets where they land
i find them adorable at times too. i only really beat them up when it's for a commission or if they suddenly attack me in large groups. i really like observing them at times and one my favorite commissions has got to be ella musk's hilichurl linguistics
Also the unusual hilichurl is actually based on the CEO of Mihoyo, Liu Wei, the character on their mask is his name Wei (伟) Apparently its voice and character movements were both done by himself!
Killing them after the Chasm is heart breaking. If only Ella's research becomes successful, and we could basically just talk with them and buy their stuff from them like masks, arrow heads etc.
But if it did, it would lapse into the game story. So, likely a bit later. Honkai got the manga early only because it had gungirlz lore to back it up for a while.

Fun (not so fun) fact: When you finish the main quest of Tsurumi island and go to Waukau shoal, you can see a electro Lawachurl and three normal Hilichurls. But when you arrive go there on another day, you will find that the Lawachurl and Hilichurls are gone, but replaced with one big Rifthound and three small ones. (One small detail, the sticks the Hilichurls use for training are everywhere, whereas in the the day before they were put there tidily.) And when you walk further to where the Ruin guards are lying, you can see the electro Lawachurl, but this time, there are only two normal Hilichurls that remain. When you go there on the third day, you can see three big rifthounds, and when you walk to where the Lawachurl was yesterday, you’ll find that the ruin guards are awake and stomping all over the place, and the electro Lawachurl you saw in the place is sitting in a even further location, but this time, the Lawachurl is alone, looking at the spot where the Hilichurl camp used to be on the first day. (They will go back on the fourth tho) (This may be a little inaccurate tbh) On the first day(where there are three hilichurls) when you are about 20 xiaos away from them, the Hilichurls will start to attack. And on the second day,( two hilichurls) when you are about 12 xiaos away from them, they will start to attack. But on the third day when the Lawachurl is alone, you’ll have to walk right next to it for it to start attacking. Maybe the Lawachurl wanted to protect the smaller hilichurls, (hence attacking you when you are far away) but on the last day, it no longer had anything to protect, so you would have to walk really close to it for it to start attacking.
Idk why, but when they sit on the edge doing nothing, it makes me feel like how i am at school- Always left out- And then there are those dancing hillichurls-
When I did the quest defrost all the shard again, I needed to go to a high place to get Scarlet Quartz, a Frostarm Lawachurl there. For some reason, he was stuck and just stood behing a campfire while I stood behind another campfire. He still took damage from Amber and still regenerate shield. Until his HP is below about 25%, he started to move and called some hilichurl. Is it a fact or a bug?
(In the last part) I think that was the old design. But the creator think that it would be hard to fight so they give up on the design. But maybe they would add it back in the future.
At 1:38, Hilichurls show up around Zhongli. Hilichurls: No, you not take shiny fruit, shiny fruit ours! Zhongli watches them make threatening movements but do not attack. He then plucks the fruit. Zhongli: You going to do something about it? Hilichurls sweat but continue to make threatening displays.
Another fun fact: Unusual Hilichurl (or Wei) would sometimes throw HOMU (4:49 the yellow smiling head Wei is holding) which is a video game character in Honkai Impact 3rd
