Marco Polo has been there over 40-50 years, since when my grandfather was alive he used to go there. Grandpa passed away 1977. I have been there a few times in recent years for dinner but not dimsum. Marco Polo is indeed an iconic old world Chinese restaurant.
Keep up the videos Uncle Lee, another good video. Tell it as it is, if its not nice then so be it. Have not been back in years, your videos just allow me to relive the memories. Was watching your videos since the days you had less than hundred subscribers, the quality of video have drastically improved. Those days, it was very shaky, not very clear, I had difficulty finishing the video as it was way too shaky. But now its very very stable, and a little more structure, maybe you have invested in better equipments and skills. lol
Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. Yes, I made it a goal for myself to continuously improve every now and then. It’s not so much about the equipment but more on the shooting and editing skills. Please take care and keep coming back for more. 🙏🙏🙏
Problem with Jin Xuan is quality is not consistent at all outlets. I tried a few and only like the one at Bandar Puteri Puchong. The worse outlet I tried is at Kuchai Lama. Foo Hing at Bandar Puteri Puchong is good too. Love it a lot. 🤤
After many episodes, I discovered a new method for measuring. If Ah Fatt and Ah Leng are not starring in a particular video, it means the introduction will be far above 'sea level'(expensive spending) which aligns with my standards.😂
If food quality is good, fresh and clean, it still worth it instead of paying less to get low quality food which makes you ended up in hospitals. Many Chinese eateries are not equipped with proper food storage facilities, they mostly packed meat or seafood in plastic bags and store in the freezer with all kinds of sauces, vegetables in the same freezer which may cause food contamination. It is not whether cheap or expensive, food safety knowledge and measures are important to avoid food poisoning.
This I agree with you 100%. And I also very careful when I eat raw oysters wherever I go. Contaminated raw oysters can easily get food poisoning even with just eating 1 oyster 🦪
This place is a bit tricky, member's card gets 15% discount on ala-carte items, meaning the price we see on the menu already inflated by 15%. Membership is RM40 for 2 years.
Haha.. those were the days! I remember when I was a kid, dad used to go to Merlin for dim sum and there’s a fish pond there and we used to enjoy watching the fish in the pond. Good memories

In my opinion, the dim sum are quite expensive as compare to those out there. 😅
Agreed 100% I always eat at Jin Xuan Damansara or Foo Hing at Puchong Bandar Puteri for dim sum😊

Didn’t know about the membership card.. but it’s good to know now.
price wise it's cheaper than Oriental. taste wise also better than Oriental. Oriental dim sum quality at Jaya 33 is bad compared to last time.
Hmmm … I don’t remember Oriental to be that bad but it is indeed expensive 💸
