Ipoh nga choi is world famous! Even the omakase in HK also use Ipoh nga choi in their dishes. I questioned them when they served Ipoh nga choi in HK. From the way you described it, their Dim Sum really sounds very yummy. Do they taste better then the 2 big chains around Klang Valley? Are the successful recipes the 2 owners' own or they hired a very good chef and he brought in all the good stuff? Thanks for your recommendation.
Not sure which 2 big chains you are referring but if it's Jin Xuan and Foo Hing then I would say each has their own "star dim sum". For example: I always go to Jin Xuan for "sang chow lor mai fan"...I cannot find this in any other dim sum shop anywhere and I love this dish!...so the only way to get it is at Jin Xuan and I find that their taste at different outlets is different! I like the outlet in Bandar Puteri Puchong. For Foo Hing, I love their char siew pau, steam pork ribs and Portugese tarts. Zhen Hi Hao has a very interesting history. Started 3 months before MCO with a dim sum chef that worked at 5 star hotels in KL, Singapore and Middle East....however, the chef left after MCO started and my friend Elizabeth and Ah Liew were left in limbo as both of them do not have F&B background! Anyway, there's still a 2nd chef that remained and their son is also working in the kitchen (you can see the tall handsome young man working in the kitchen - that's their son). It took them months to recover from the ordeal through trial and error and experimentation. So they were down months after they started and many expected them to fail. This was their darkest period. But they kept going, listening to customers and adjusting their offerings and taste to get to where they are today. It's like ONE BIG FAMILY when you go and dine at Zhen Hi Hao and you will be served by locals. You don't get the family feel when you go to Foo Hing and Jin Xuan and you get served by foreign labour. AND if you request Elizabeth to sing for you, very often she will be more than happy to do that! So with their son now working in the kitchen and taking care of stuff, I am sure it will survive and prosper and no more external parties (hired chefs) can screw them up anymore! They learned their lesson.....the hard way!
1. Ah Fatt does not want to be featured. But I managed to sneak up on him one day and filmed him for about 10-20 seconds. You can see that in the Selayang video. 2. I don’t like Ah Fatt’s CKT, I prefer CKT Penang style instead of KL style. I like my CKT fried dry with prawns 🍤 , duck egg, Chinese sausage, chives… Ah Fatt CKT only has cockles, egg 🥚 & bean sprouts 🌱.

Too small cage for 2 poor rabbits....caged up...rabbits should have big space to hop around....same goes to all dogs, cats being caged up 24 hours a day😢
I agree with this. I talked to Elizabeth and she has agreed that she will leave them 🐇at home and let them roam around. We should not cage animals 24 hours a day! Good feedback 👍
