Keep up the great work guys. I really enjoy your videos. Would love to see a vid on long COVID symptoms and remedies in the near future. Thx
Great video, thanks! Couldn't help but notice that you all are wearing AirPods, do you guys believe they are free of negative health consequences? Would love to hear if you have any thoughts on this
Thoughts on drastically increasing statin prescriptions? The medical underpinnings of that idea was probably the worst part of the book.
Despite all the controversy surrounding ldl and you still see it as a marker of longevity.
Thanks. This book goes along well with mindfulness books like "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels.
Thanks Ricky, will look into it
I suspect my diabetes started in my teens. I am 69.
You don't know to look for underlying conditions.😊
The suggestion is that to improve Healthspan, the factors for genomic instability, telomere dysfunction, epigenetic alterations, loss of proteostasis, compromise of autophagy, mitochondrial dysfunction, cellular senescence, stem cell exhaustion, altered intercellular communication and deregulated nutrient sensing should be targeted. So how do we prioritize the many supplements some charismatic influencers with impressive qualifications has urged us to take? The Science.

I'm glad Peter put in the stuff on relationships and emotions - often neglected in the health / longevity discussion.
Insulin resistance! Take this seriously and see how much of disease could be avoided 😊
Highly disagree with the blond guy. Delegating once health anxiety on somebody else is BY FAR the single most WORST action one can do for once health. Whether you look at long lived cancer survivors or people with remissions off any serious illment, these all were people who took their health in their own hands. Or how about the billion of men who delegated their health anxiety to the oh so educated cardiologist? Who gives you a statin that might at best prolong your life by 3 years, whereas a life style intervention directed by someone owning his health might give you 30 more years for cardiological problems. Or how about all the obese americans that trusted their governments with food choices for their kids at school? Why should delegating once heath anxiety to some startup working with wearables(running absolutely horrible unstable software) should be a better strategy? It's exactly the same mistake. Very bad advice!!
Reinfections with an evolving vascular neurotropic virus (C19) may accelerate damage from Attia's 4 horsemen

Love how young people pretend to know about longevity as if they have experienced it. Lol. I should have asked my great grandmother to write a book because she lived to 104.
First you should read a book about logic before talking like that to others.
@@YaYippieYeah Since you're talking about logic , what exactly is wrong in my statement?
@@nickbardan3867 You can live long and know nothing about longevity. There are smokers who lived long.
@@YaYippieYeah you can live long and still be an idiot
They are using the research that has been done to make the average person live longer. What exactly did your grandma do to live that long. It’s most likely luck that it happen
I think Peter Attia is a bit of a grifter. He jumps on whatever the latest fad is, then writes a book, then later "discovers" that what he is claiming isn't true. Then he jumps on the next fad!
Thats is bs! He wrote only one book and in his podcast he updates his view of health based on the progress in scientific literature. Of course some things will change with time, because of new knowledge that comes out. Any static view would be of concern to me.
@@bammeldammel He often supports ideas, runs with them and promotes them before any scientific literature has supported them. He did low carb then intermittent fasting now something else. One day you will spot that he's a grifter.
