    Dr. Berg your content changed my whole life. I used to wake up for 14 years and experiencfme a headache almost day after day. I've done this keto with intermitten fasting for 8 months and no more headaches, even when coming off of keto. I do like to stay in ketosis as my default state. By the way I was doing this while I was living out of the car and living out side and for me it cost about the same or most times for me even less than an average meal. I noticed I just didn't feel hungry doing this. By the way I did this as a vegetarian as well and was still able to sustain it. I noticed the top 3 things that help me as in food wise for keto for me are coconut oil for quick burst of energy, nutritional yeast for its many nutrients and (newest one for me) fava beans which has L-dopa witch helps with feelin satiated. I also like to have brocolli and dip it into grassfed butter (or add or replace it with macadamia nut oil for its high omega 7 content to help with algae oil). Also this ketogenic lifestyle helped me overcome OCD too, as I don't experience depression or anxiety. Thanks Dr. Eric Berg. This ketogenic lifestyle with fasting really did change my life.

      Isn’t staying in ketosis amazing? I’ve been in almost constant since May2017. A few experiments with locarb alcohol kicked me out and also locarb yogurt. I used to be an alcoholic so its for the best that i cant handle alcohol in ketosis. God is protecting me. 🙏🏼
      Happy for you that you figured out your version of keto : )

      @@noway3783 sadly, this does sound like a crock to some people simply because of the way other diets and health information has been rolled out over the past few decades. Everybody wants that quick buck. I wish everyone's priorities were more altruistic.
      This entire ketosis concept actually answers an age-old question of my own. I had often wondered for years how mankind survived in the early ages even before and after agriculture. I look at how much we eat now and I try and apply it to back then and it makes no sense how we could have possibly handled it. I kept thinking about animals and how they could eat once and be fine. And this answers all of those questions.

    I had been searching for a leave in conditioner that would tame my frizzy hair for a long time. I’d tried many products. I heard about the benefits of avocado oil on hair and I thought I’d give it a shot. Eureka! This is it! I now no longer use any other types of conditioners (rinse out or leave in). I just put some organic avocado oil on my hair after I’ve washed it and it immediately takes care of the frizz and makes my hair shiny. It lasts too. Re-applications are rarely needed. Cheap, natural, and effective! I ❤️ it! If you try this, use sparingly/just enough. Otherwise, your hair will look greasy.

    Many nutritional experts say that it's pretty much impossible to obtain "real" olive oil (and avocado oil) in our local supermarkets. They say it is usually mixed with other unhealthy oils. My questions are (1) What is the best way to obtain pure, healthy olive and avocado oil and (2) What would you consider the best and healthiest oil to use - Olive Oil or Avocado Oil? Thank you so much for all that you do Dr. Berg. I know a lot of hard work goes into all of your offerings to us and that it's not easy. You are a treasure to us who are seeking a better quality of life via health and nutrition.

      Hi CJ,
      1) Make sure that the oil is:
      Unrefined, extra virgin
      Cold-pressed
      Dark bottle
      Glass bottle
      Burns your throat (preferably makes you caugh - it's because of high polyphenol content)
      Harvest date is less than one year (olive oil loses benefits and oxidizes over time)
      Seal of approval - or not a big deal
      if there is none
      2) I don't know about Dr Berg but I'd go for olive oil since it's much higher in antioxidants.

      @@Drberg would we be able to take avocado oil with omega 3 supplements or foods, considering it is high is omega 6 fatty acids? I believe that the omega 6 that is found in avocado oil is different than what is found in vegetable oils and is supposed to be very anti inflammatory, but I am not 100% sure about the claim of the omega 6 being different than what is in vegetable oils, and if omega 3 can be combined and properly absorbed with it.

      Dear Kyle drinking Alkaline water will really help to balance enzyme activity by balancing PH of our blood. Best naturally available Alkaline water is found in the juice of Indian Ashgourd, next to that is Tender coconut water. Actually treatment for increased enzymatic activity in liver lies not in direct treatment to it but rather lies in proper functioning of penial gland which regulates all the harmonal activities in our body. The key for proper functioning of penial gland not lies in anyone's hands it lies in good mental health of each person. Hi Rita, Dr. Berg himself eats 1-2 avocados per day. I believe that sky is the limit here and as many as 5 avocados a day should still benefit your health :)

    Everybody subscribe to this channel, he knows his stuff! Absolutely loving your information bro and I wanted to ask a question about blending vegetables and fruits. Is it healthy? Or does it bypass a lot of the nutrients due to the unnatural way it's being consumed???

    • @AlbertKingboss
      @AlbertKingboss 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jester, I believe blending is amazing cause it gives you the ability to consume way more veggies than you would be able to. As long as you consume the fibrous part as well, there should be no nutrients lost. Plus, the drink is also easier to digest for most people :)

    Hi Dr Berg or can someone tell me which one is better for diabetes, avocado oil or olive oil?

  • @asesoremocional
    @asesoremocional 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hi Dr. Berg.
    Does coconut oil have the same benefit in sugar?
    A nutritionist recommended that when a child ate sugar, cake or candy, he would take a teaspoon of coconut oil to lessen the negative effects of sugar and that it would become energy.
    What is your opinion?
    Thank you! 🙏

    • @AlbertKingboss
      @AlbertKingboss 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Christian, when you consume fat along with sugar, it lowers the insulin spike so in the short-term, it's very good. But in a long run, you're causing yourself insulin resistance by mixing carbs and fat (insulin receptors open up and get filled with fat instead of carbs, thus become resistant to carbs)
