i drill all my fittings out for more flow where i can. i don't recommend it if you have to move your machine alot. but for stationary on a trailer never had a problem
Clean Power Wash i mean like a port and polish deal on the half inch adapters sometimes you cannot find a thin wall adapter. and i like to make everything smoother. biggest hole =more flow!
What thread type are the general pump inlets? Im seeing replacement parts say 1/2" BSP but that doesnt seem right. Are they 1/2" NPT? I just got my first machine and am trying to learn all the different sizes and fitting before I go spend a bunch of money on new parts that dont fit.
Hey man I’m in md and trying to plumb everything up. Got a belt drive 5 gpm and tried a 3/4 hose but didn’t pull at all from that been seeing people have 2 inch bulk heads than down to 1 inch straight into pump. Would that be my best bet
Hello, one of the 2 pieces you got from Russ Southside (1/2" male to 1" female). I can't find it on their website. Do you know where else I could find it? Thanks.
@@Cleanpowerwash Should I do this with my 5.5? I just bought one and I connected a 1 inch line, but at the end of the non collapsible it has a 1 inch barb to 3/4 mpt?
I don’t carry a water supply tank, I tap into water outlets on my clients homes. We get good pressure I guess I can just switch out the fittings going to my pump just the way you set up right to increase the water flow?
Fernando Medina ProWindowz soon you will upgrade equipment and using a buffer tank is a huge way to protect your equipment. If you don't want to do that yet it's ok, but it won't be the long term solution
Clean Power Wash I currently use 3 different pressure washers one 8gpm for my surface cleaning and 2 4gpm for my soft wash services. We don’t do a lot of these services but when we do we have the equipment to get it done Unless I get a trailer and have the buffer tanks on standby until needed, but yes I see your point thanks for the feedback.
Do you use a discharge and another unloader on your pressure washer machines so when you release your trigger the water is directed out a hose and you don't have to worry about water buildup and your pump there for ruining your pump
Man you guys are spending tons of money on accessories, easier to purchase a extra pump, I have a 3000 psi @5 gpm and a 4000 psi @ 3.5 gpm... very seldom do I have to take. The 5 gpm off and swap
Yea but it also depends on what you are doing, I have a 4GPM and a 5GPM but picked up several commercial jobs last fall.. we got them done but over the. winter i got the 22hp preditor motor and a Gp12gpm pump I cut my time in half. and now i am even soft washing with the 12GPM and same thing in knocking houses out quick
Have a 3/4 to 1" barb for my garden hose connector for maximum water flow. Thanks for video
Do you just use a heat gun to get that 1" barb into that 3/4 hole ?
@@damianroman1311 I don't have a heat gun. I use one of those torch lighters for cigarettes 😂 or you can also use hot water
@cleanmaxexteriorpowerwashing luckily I have a heat gun.!!! Thank you
Thank you brother. Great video I’m new to your channel

Jesse Kolb why would you still out the fittings instead of simply buying the right pieces?

1/2” npt
Assuming you are in the US. No clue about it if it's overseas

Try loosening your fittings/hose clamp. Bleed the line and it should be ok.

Amazon
@@Cleanpowerwash I did look there, just couldn't find 1"x 1/2". Thanks anyway, I'll keep looking.
amzn.to/3OnWM5C this will do it. Then you need amzn.to/3OvySFn
Dude I can't find that half inch male to one inch female fitting anywhere did you order it by chance?

Ahh see I had a 1"barb by 1" thread and was looking for a 1" to 1/2" reducer to go after that lol thanks man!
Travis Whitener yeah you can do it several different ways. In most stores it's going to be 2 fittings.

Bigger piping to the pump is always helpful

How do you run a 8gpm off your customers water outlet without damaging your pump ???
Thank you.
wow my machine has a cat pump of 4000 psi and 4 gpm but it doesn't pump at an incline do you think taking that thing off would help with this?
MrJoshuaj93 direct drive pumps require different plumbing and a way to eliminate air in the line.
Direct drive is not suggested for pulling from a tank. Better to swap to belt and eliminate all issues rather than trying to force it to work better.
Do you use a discharge and another unloader on your pressure washer machines so when you release your trigger the water is directed out a hose and you don't have to worry about water buildup and your pump there for ruining your pump
Michael Schriner yes we use an unloader. And it bypasses back to the tank. Not sure what you are asking about there being 2 things.
You've been pressure washing for more than 5 years?
Why are all of your comments asking about how long we have been washing?
@@Cleanpowerwash I thought you were just getting started that's all.
guage broken on pump head?
or water trapped in wand?
guage showes 5k psi +
Wesley Jackson 5k when it's running or when it's off?
Clean Power Wash 5300psi @ 2:12 in video
Wesley Jackson yes that gauge is broken
hi can you give some recommendations on what i should do if i want to improve GPM waterflow
Your pump largely controls that.
the bowl strainer as you call it
I just bought a 5 gpm direct drive machine..... could you show or tell the way to set up plumbing for that please?
David Smith hook up an input. run bypass hose into buffer tank. look for my other videos.
I always go 2” to dual 1” an plumb both sides of the pump
Yeah that will work great
