I'm confused, can you write the wire colors with each other?

I would double check your old lights if you have them. On the new light, Red is the Reverse ties to the old white with black stripe wire, The new brown wire is the running light and ties into the old white wire, The yellow is stop and turn signal, ties to the supplied resistor and the black with green stripe wire. the other end of the supplied resistor has to be tied to ground.
