- Since the rains began, residents in Syokimau have been grappling with floodwaters that have disrupted transportation, schools and businesses. They have pleaded with the contractor to finish up work on the road that began back in July this year, but nothing has been forthcoming. Victoria Rubadiri with more from the streets of Syokimau that one could easily mistake for Venice, Italy.

Contract given 5 years ago but site was abandoned within 2 years. CSs give out contracts to their families and friends who have zero experience and no intention of doing a good job. Just take money and dissappear.
