@1:37 "talking about hanging baskets" after watching the video I was thinking something more than hanging a basket 🤣🤣This is a classic Monty Python sketch, if by design brilliant if not brilliant 👍
@@AllThingsBonsaiSheffield would you use the same mix for slightly different plants? Say a maple and a juniper? Do I just adjust the particle sizing for plant sizing (except azalea)?
Hi Simon, thanks for watching again. At the moment I can’t think of a use for it at the nursery. I’ve read that it can be used in cement making. I did wonder about trying to make Keto with it. If you’ve got any ideas please let me know 👍
Hi yes we use it on both. Tend not to use it on Ficus or other trees commonly grown indoors though as I find we need to hold a bit for water to combat the dryness of the air.
Not boring at all. Great video for beginners to understand
Thanks for that! 👍
Don’t know how I’ve missed you guys, I’m always on TH-cam watching bonsai channels, excellent videos 👌👍

As ever, very useful - thank you
Thanks again William 👍
Another great video from you both. What happens to the dust particles Acadama, lava, pumice etc, is their a use for them, seems wasteful?

Very good technique to mixed material/ingredient as bonsai media in order to make porous drainage👍💚👍💚
Thanks! 👍
A lovely video, do you sell the lapillo vulcanico lava rock as I cannot see it on your website.
Thanks Mark. Yes but out of stock. Due in very soon. This week hopefully. Adam
whats the mixture have again ? the volume in the vid was too low, what can we use instead of akadama, i cant get it here
Hi it was akadama, pumice and lava (lapillo) in equal amounts. You might be able to get molar clay
Is this mix good for both junipers and deciduous trees?
