I’ve watched a bunch of chops on YT but the one that made the most sense to me was Bobby Walden’s 1932 3W coupe. He chops the DOORS first, making sure to have a perfectly matched pair, THEN bring the roof down to meet the (chopped) doors. It IS a ton of work and I’m sure you’ll get it worked out. It looks really good.
Looking good! Looks like you figured the roof. Good job. You may want to cut the door tops and then mount them to check your contures. This is going to look sweet !
👍🏻Nice recovery, lucky you caught it before welding it solid. My opinion you are doing just as well as the others, being fast isn’t always the way to go
Bad Chad is a hack (not in a positive way) and never had any skill. You on the other hand use the thought process ahead of time. Your product will be much better than his.
you're too modest. Look forward to more of your analytical thinking and excellent execution especially with you're limited tool resources. @@MarekMakes
Doing great.. keep after it, success is just around the corner.
Thanks! I am excited to see progress!
Thanks for sharing I chopped mine 2 inches ..
It’s a fun project
Hey yours looks good! I subbed! What did you swap for your front suspension? That’s going to be on my list of to do..
@@MarekMakes thanks for the sub 🍺🍺🍺I used a mustang ii front end it fit perfectly in the rails
What company? I have seen them in summit or speedway … or did you build it?
@@MarekMakes it’s actually from a 78 mustang

Wow that’s different- I have watched a bunch as well and never saw that approach- I’ll look it up
@@MarekMakes kind of like you had a certain vision in mind for the windshield but Walden feels the side view is the money shot.
Yeah a good rake of the roof line / doors can really make a difference
It's looking good 👍 congrats on getting into the ratrod build off. Interested in seeing how you execute the back panel.
Me too 😬

Thanks!! That's the plan - want to solidify the roof and finalize the welding of the pillars - then I will get to the doors

Feel like a turtle … plodding along
Nice job.
Thanks! It has come a long way
Way hotter in other hat! Keep after it. Can't wait to see the progress!
Hahahahaha …. Thanks Gunny ….
Should have added a x brace to the center post
I have braces welded in. Not sure how an X would have stopped me from welding the top of the pillars in on an angle tho?
"Promo SM" 🙈

Wow - I will take that as a compliment thank you
