It might not be the absolute best performer at that price range, but when you think about the efficiency, reliability, and practical daily drivability, it certainly lives up to it's heritage as a fun supercar that you can actually live with. I'd take this over the P90D Tesla just on looks, driving dynamics, and the ability for long distance travel.
Why did you even say "Tesla". lol. It's a one trick pony. 0-60 in 3 and that's it. After 60-80 it falls on its face and it can't go around a track worth a crap. The charger hellcat is a better 4 door sports car. Better yet the cts-v
Congrats. This is probably one of the better and more entertaining video reviews out of all the recent Thermal track tests. I've seen all of them now. Great music choice and very nice video image capture as well. Anyways, this is a fantastic machine and one worth dreaming about! I hope you are able to do an even more in depth video review or drive of this NSX later for us.
Also, what's more, is with other exotics their value goes way down a year or two later. Check out a Jalopnik discussion about supercar/exotic car prices. With Acura/Lexus, they're so reliable and retain so much value these cars won't depreciate the same.
+Jeff K Cars are still expensive but some cost 50% after a few years. Yes, that's still a lot of money, but they basically lose the value of a regular car each year.
+Jeff K I think you misunderstood me. I'm not saying they're cheap, but some exotics do not retain their value. Even a couple years later their worth is slashed in half. Doesn't matter for a person with money to burn, haha. But even if I was a billionaire, I'd still wait a couple years. I was just commenting that Acuras/Hondas/Lexuses, Lexi?? probably hold their value well.
This car looks so astonishing, i love this car so much better then other performance cars like Porsche, Audi, Ferrari , Mercedes and its Design is so beautiful.
So far all the NSX reviews are positive! It's fast, it looks good, you can drive it everyday I just wish had 150k :( overall Acura did an awesome job hopefully we get to see this engine in their future lineup!
+Im A Fanboy ohh please wouldn't be surprised if honda payed these reviewers after motor trend told the truth about it "pure sports car experience" my ass, the Audi R8 is a much better car with much better engine, even the ford GT is getting much more attention the NSX
It just means that it will retain it's value and be extremely reliable... Much like Lexus's LFA, with people making fun of Lexus... Now it's one of the most sought after super cars in the world with a near legendary status while holding some of the top lap times on the Nurburgring. Fuck the haters.
+Onetazien No badge snob here, but I still think it's too much to ask for the performance return. They should've stuck to what made the old NSX so great, being a simple, well made, no-nonsense, bargain supercar, but they wanted the exercise of bunch of hybrid and electronic aid crap simply because they had a high price ceiling to work with. IMO, they could've easily made this car for $100,000 or less without the hybrid nonsense.
+DootDoot when i saw the price of the LFA i thought there was gonna be a good reason for why it is priced so high...and there was, a lot of people seem to get the bespoke part when it comes to pagani or koenigsegg but not the LFA
Nice job and great review and thank you for being honest and NOT being bias because the Acura NSX is from a Japanese company. Buying this Acura NSX is like buying a Porsche 918 Spyder but at a fraction of the cost. It has a lots of similar technology that the 918 has. If I win a big lottery Jackpot I will buy this Acura NSX for sure and off course, a Nissan GT-R Track Edition, Jaguar F-Type R, Lambo Hurican and Audi R8 V10 Plus as well.
I actually stole one of them, heavily modified it in-game and I placed it in my garage. I'm too scared to get it out of there (biggest mistake was to do this to a stolen car, but I'm happy I have one :P ).
Great review! You have to wonder, in a car of this price, why all the switchgear doesn't use machined aluminium buttons and dials for a more premium feel.
the lack of torque lag without the stress a dual boost setup puts on an engine is quite ingenious. But here in lies the big question. What happens if you add nitrous? Can the front drive electric motors compensate or keep up?
I'm not a "huge" fan of the Toyota Supra, I am quite a fan of the Nissan-GTR, but the Acura NSX blows the GTR and Supra off the field for me. I have been in love with the car since I started learning about it. I'm only 12 and it is my dream car. I don't want to blow half-a-million dollars on a Lamborghini, so the Acura is beyond a good deal considering it has about the same Horsepower.
Supra is a super car? I thought it was a sports car, but has a chasis that can handle being suped up. So only heavily modified can it be considered one.
Even if die hard enthusiast dislikes this car for not being like the old one...this car is "more" than its competitors in its own price range! If you want another pure hybrid super/sports-car...what price are we looking at then? 918, P1?
TassieLorenzo Honda anticipated only 1-2% civic buyers would buy manuals and they went ahead and offer a manual transmission on the new civic for that 2% crowd.
Amazing how different people can have completely different experiences with the same car. So many have said that the steering is dead numb and you can't feel a thing. Now they say here that the steering is completely natural. Even Honda admits that they had to make the steering numb in order to circumvent the constant torque vectoring that the front wheel electric motors do. Otherwise the steering wheel would be ripping out of your hands in every tight turn
+maximus9401 Good point. I guess it all depends on what you mean by "numb". Does it give a lot of reaction: no. Does it feel like it's in the right place and is actually telling the car where to go: yes.
+Peter Von Crastenberg Two seater, HIGH horsepower, high price tags.... sound like suppercars to me. A miata is a sports car, a base stingray is a sports car, an m3 is a sports car. 650s and C7 Z06s are SUPERior to those.
Great review! It is a hybrid. Maybe one day, we will hear loud engines like we smell and hear loud old engines in old muscle cars. Sure they sound cool, but they smell and the loud noise pollution is so passe. I would trade that for a better performing quieter, cleaner, car. This coming from a Porsche owner LOL!
I thought they would make it more like the original with a focus on power to weight, lightweight, aerodynamic etc. It needs to be cheaper than its competitors as they all have more power and are lighter.
it is cheaper then most of its competitors that most if not all have similar power, some are lighter but non offer the tech that the nsx offers. and they made it so it fits its NSX acronym and nothing in the name says it should be like the old one, making it like the old one would actually make it not fit its name, the old one was built with similar philosophy for Honda just it was built 25years earlier and alot has changed tech wise in 25years. and then they dont even have the same name even though the acronym is the same.
This is a very good review. You are the best reviewer on your channel, information with minimal "jokes". To me, this car has a few subjective negatives. It sounds really tame, nothing like a supercar should. It kind of drones. Secondly that interior looks like an entry level sedan interior. Third, that grill doesn't look good, It looks a lot like the Lexus grill in that there is too much of it. I hope honda makes another s2000 someday.
The sad thing about this car is the crazy usage of technology. The old NSXs are known for being super reliable cars that when maintained well can go for over 400k miles. That's fucking impressive. A naturally aspirated engine along with a manual transmission along with Honda engineer ingenuity and quality and master piece was made. As for this new NSX, a 9 speed DCT, a twin turbo car, and a battery pack...Yeah..Enjoy the maintenance on that shit. Plus, this shit is made in Ohio..Of all places, shitty Ohio!
Fussinated I guess I'm being unreasonable because the NSX needs all those things to compete, but I would have loved to drive something that contains components that are tried and true. A natural aspirated engine like in the Viper, Audi R8 V10, or a Lexus LFA would have been amazing! Throw in a manual and keep it AWD or RWD and oh lord..I'd be happy.
Heartagram I think you are being a hater ... I would like to see you put similar comments under a Ferrari La Ferrari, or Porsche 918. or a McLaren Until then you are no different from those bigoted Europeans and Euro lovers who are afraid that Japanese keep on forcing them out of the market with their high quality products,
i doubt anything over 200 LBS, i guarantee theres not 200 lbs of leather, sound dampening, reduced window glass, non electric seats, and then reduced leather / speakers would maybe get you 300 lbs.
+Karun Chendrimada I couldn't help but think about this when driving the car. Everyone criticized the GT-R for "doing everything for you." Yes, the NSX does the same thing, but it all feels natural.
The original NSX is one of my favorite cars of all time. This new NSX just doesn't seem like an NSX at all. This is no doubt a very nice piece of engineering but maybe diehard NSX fans will need to be a bit more lenient when looking at this car. After all, it's 2017 and this car needs to keep up with the times.
+HighMagnitudeGT The old NSX was the most technologically advanced car on the road back in its day. Need a bring up V-Tech? Technology which was unheard of back when the old NSX came out? So calling it "simple" would be an insult. And it was FAR from being "affordable". It was dancing in Ferrari and Porsche turf back then. The NSX has always been a technologically advanced sports car with a premium price tag.
***** You're comparing the old NSX by todays standards. Believe it or not, the old NSX was very ahead of its time futuristic looking for the time. Could you even imagine seeing the first gen NSX concept in 1989? "Understated" was not the word used. Again, you're going by todays standards of what a car is, of course the old NSX would be primitive to todays standards of super car. But look back, and ask ANYONE who was either alive or old enough back when the first NSX debuted, and they'll tell you "it was the most futuristic, advanced and premium supercars you could buy. Which had the Europeans shaking, because it wouldn't break.". The new NSX is certainly following in the same footsteps as its predecessor, and is certainly worthy of the NSX name.
I agree that this is an awesome review of the NSX because I watched a review by Motor Trend and it seemed to me that they put down the car. Motor Trend made it seem like it was a letdown, this review made it sound like it's worth buying.
Uhm - the Z06 is almost half the price and faster (both 0-60 and top speed). And yes, the Z06 is a supercar. It's even advertised as such. Why would anyone buy this?
This new NSX isn't produced in Japan at all, maybe just the electric motors and battery pack. It is designed and manufactured in USA. Please correct me if I'm wrong. This is as Japanese as a California Roll in a Japanese restaurant.
+DootDoot The NSX will depreciate like a rock too. Acura isn't making this in limited numbers and the demand for an expensive Acura isn't really there.
dcharizard91 Guess we shall see.. For the first 2 years even if you had 200 gran cash lying around you won't be able to purchase a NSX they are sold out for 2 years.
It looks amazing, performs beautifully, is insanely fast, handles extremely well, and is all around a fantastic supercar and delivers crazy performance for the money, BUT this is NOT an NSX. The NSX was a simple, lightweight, no nonsense supercar and that's what everyone loved about it. This is a bucket of technology with fancy turbos and electric motors and weighs a ton. They should have made a new name.
"The NSX was a simple, lightweight, no nonsense supercar and that's what everyone loved about it." What you don't seem to understand at all is that the first NSX may seem simple now to you and many others, but really it was considered "too advanced" and "expensive to fix" by the masses when the first NSX came out in 1989. NSX stands for New Sportscar eXperimental, and this new one more than lives up to the name. It's the only affordable hybrid supercar at 150,000, where the only other hybrid supercars that compete with it costs over a million dollars with the exception of the BMW I8, but let's be honest, this NSX outperforms it in every way. This is the future of automotive engineering, like it or not.
+Vikk 54 New Sportscar eXperimental. The whole point of an NSX is to be an experiment of something new. The original NSX was on the cutting edge, and so is the this one. THAT is the point of NSX. You can already buy a Lotus Evora that is similar in philosophy to the original NSX, no point for Honda to build an Evora too, there would be nothing "NEW" or "EXPERIMENTAL" about that...
+Cassa Nova He mentioned many downsides actually. "The acceleration feels slower than a 911 Turbo S." "It's the quietest in it's class" - the critical thinker would ask: in a supercar!? "It's livable day to day" - the critical thinker would ask: in a supercar!?
yes but when you have twin turbos that can be made to push more psi and changed out for bigger ones, and alot of other things, supercharger is the last thing that is needed in that compartment.
+FOR8YESHUA a veyron is a 1.7m dollar and up 1001hp 8l 16cyl 64valve quad turbo car that will never be compared with cars like the NSX as they are not in the same class in anything.
For this price, I'd rather get a Lotus Evora 400 + Jaguar F-Pace. There's no way the hybrid NSX can top Evora 400's light weight chassis and hydraulic steering. Then there's the issue with batteries in hybrid cars; they simply don't last nearly as long as engines, which leads to horrible depreciation. Also, in this price range, there's the Jaguar F-Type R, Lexus LC500, and if you really gotta have hybrid, the BMW i8.
This is only the fourth hybrid supercar ever made, and the first three are north of $1 million. The new NSX is in a league of its own.
Exactly! The Porsche spyder 918 for the common joe. People commenting Acura/Honda crap have no clue! 😁
I salute you, Honda !!! You guys always have my up most respect !!!
+neoperseus xD
This car is Beautiful !....
That was awesome review of the new NSX! So much fun to watch, great info, great videography & incredible editing.
What up HondaPro! I see you love this as much as i do. The whole time all i can think about is how sweet it would look with Honda badging on it. 😎👍
wow... are you The HondaPro Jason??? dude I knew about NSX because you talked about on you Channel. cheers m8
+O Arias Good call!
+Phrancis5 It's a bit like a Honda motorcycle, not amazing just "in the middle" and well-rounded. Not sure TBH.
Why did you even say "Tesla". lol. It's a one trick pony. 0-60 in 3 and that's it. After 60-80 it falls on its face and it can't go around a track worth a crap. The charger hellcat is a better 4 door sports car. Better yet the cts-v

uhm, price some used 911's. As far as I know there is only one model that is inexpensive and thats the one with the awful headlights.

One of the best NSX reviews
It does have a very clean classy looking interior.
FINALLY, THE LEGEND RIDES AGAIN
Still waiting for a Type R
This car looks so astonishing, i love this car so much better then other performance cars like Porsche, Audi, Ferrari , Mercedes and its Design is so beautiful.

+Brian Vtec suggest you watch motortrends review they didn't like it at all
+thesulo12 that wasn't the production car tho...
Brian Vtec the car in this is not a production car either, all these reviewers are sucking Hondas nuts, except for motortrend i wonder why
+thesulo12 Those are opinions, the idiot that reviewed the car was blinded by the old NSX
+Im A Fanboy ohh please wouldn't be surprised if honda payed these reviewers after motor trend told the truth about it "pure sports car experience" my ass, the Audi R8 is a much better car with much better engine, even the ford GT is getting much more attention the NSX
Great review, really detailed and informative. & of course, a Great car. Acura knocked it out of the park! Thanks AutoGuide!
A moment for the GTR and SUPRA lovers.😂
Good review. Acura NSX is finally back, and it is still dream car to own.
"150 thousand for an Acura"
Who cares except badge pretentious snobs. Hell yes, it's an Acura. So what!
It just means that it will retain it's value and be extremely reliable... Much like Lexus's LFA, with people making fun of Lexus... Now it's one of the most sought after super cars in the world with a near legendary status while holding some of the top lap times on the Nurburgring. Fuck the haters.

+Onetazien When the NSX was released in 91 it was MSRP 110k USD. 150k for an nsx with nearly 600hp? Fuck. Yes.
+Onetazien I would pay that for an Acura, so unlike most supercars out there, it won't depreciate like crazy, if any.
Nice job and great review and thank you for being honest and NOT being bias because the Acura NSX is from a Japanese company. Buying this Acura NSX is like buying a Porsche 918 Spyder but at a fraction of the cost. It has a lots of similar technology that the 918 has.

Lexus LFA
This. Lexus LFA is also twice as expensive. But IS a best car Japan ever produced.
+Bo Livesey *gtr
+Bo Livesey well the question was best car, not best car for the money
+HANSE658 LFA is a masterpiece.. But the original NSX has changed the face of driving to even allow room for the LFA to exist..
+DootDoot correct
I must say, this Honda Civic coupe is really fast.
+Chupick Nicolas FWD to twin turbo is one hell of a mod.
+Chupick Nicolas lol
Hahaha
Finally, one of the few that don't just paste stock footage and voice over them. (Leno's is the other one I know of.)
wow looks like this is the ONLY car rockstar made completely the same ingame
I actually stole one of them, heavily modified it in-game and I placed it in my garage. I'm too scared to get it out of there (biggest mistake was to do this to a stolen car, but I'm happy I have one :P ).
Great review! You have to wonder, in a car of this price, why all the switchgear doesn't use machined aluminium buttons and dials for a more premium feel.
Honda NSX - Nissan GTR - Toyota Supra
Honda Civic - Nissan Silvia - Toyota AE86
Bro you nailed it on the head
Nsx s2000
+NELSON DELGADO I think the Civic and s2000 fits but for a longer going one civic fits
Honda Fit - Nissan Micra - Toyota Yaris
They took their time, but it really feels like most refined super car ever.
KBB was reviewing a red honda too!...
What a good review ! So professional. Keep up the good work guys!
Alright lets see some upgraded turbos and open wastegate =)
Wtf
?
+lightningxx Lets not.
Hondas engines have always performed amazingly with upgrades I expect this to be the same
+lightningxx how bout no, scott
the lack of torque lag without the stress a dual boost setup puts on an engine is quite ingenious. But here in lies the big question. What happens if you add nitrous? Can the front drive electric motors compensate or keep up?
I'm going to own this car.
Styling slays me I love it so much!
this is pretty much the perfect GT car
My dream car! I have followed the NSX since before the first one came out. My chances of owning one: winning the lottery.
But I can dream.
I saw 1 on the freeway and it doesnt look like $35k acura. It looks like and r10 with a hint of a ferrari
I love the front design.
I know it's a "new generation" NSX, but sadly it doesn't remind me of the older model which I really love.
It's not supposed to remind u about the old nsx. It's called new sport experiment for a reason.
+johnny O. Obviously, but people still love the former generation and it would have been nice if it bore some resemblance....
I'm not a "huge" fan of the Toyota Supra, I am quite a fan of the Nissan-GTR, but the Acura NSX blows the GTR and Supra off the field for me. I have been in love with the car since I started learning about it. I'm only 12 and it is my dream car. I don't want to blow half-a-million dollars on a Lamborghini, so the Acura is beyond a good deal considering it has about the same Horsepower.
riding a supercar in a racing circuit in the auto mode
Welcome to 2016
we off that, stick to driving stick on ur rice rockets
Auto is for the losers
paddle shifts.. wash ur eye..
yes paddle shifts.... he isnt using them though. wash your eyes..
I really wanted Craig Cole to review this car
Supra is a super car? I thought it was a sports car, but has a chasis that can handle being suped up. So only heavily modified can it be considered one.
In the 90s it was a super car. In the 90s ferraris v8 f355 only had 25 more hp then the supra and GTR.
FYI - Motor Trend weighed a 2017 R8 V10 Plus and it was a hefty 3653 lbs. Thus the NSX is only 147 lbs heaver and not 600lbs.
dream car 😍😍😍
Even if die hard enthusiast dislikes this car for not being like the old one...this car is "more" than its competitors in its own price range! If you want another pure hybrid super/sports-car...what price are we looking at then? 918, P1?
It looks like a Jester
gta thats what the jester is suppose to be
+Tizlarm Young not really cause the jester is mostly a BMW i8
its like a mixture of both, cuz rockstar is not allowed to use real car brands
+Tizlarm Young true
for real bro
I remember driving this as a concept car in Gran Turismo 5 like 3 or 4 years back
I'll nickname this car the jester XD
Gta? Lol
that little pause about Toyota and Nissan was too funny lol
Lol ultimate troll statement. It is a nice super car though. It's like a baby 918 for fraction of the cost.
Yeah baby 918 that's shit heavy and slow looks good tho
Still looks good to this day!! 😍
Honda also makes this car right?
Black Hearted yes. Although engineered and manufactured in the US under the Acura name, there is a Honda version.
Black Hearted its designed by Honda
Black Hearted Acura IS Honda.
looking forward for the comparation between this nsx vs bmw i8... they both looks awesome (and quite looks alike)
They need to make a 6 or 7 speed manual.
they dont, not really
+Ki Mu Honda hasn't made a type r that's not manual yet nsx needs a type r, sadly this will very possibly be the very first 2 pedal type r
+Ki Mu They won't make design a manual, just to sell 5% manuals, it's just not worth the cost, sadly.
TassieLorenzo Honda anticipated only 1-2% civic buyers would buy manuals and they went ahead and offer a manual transmission on the new civic for that 2% crowd.
Wei Wang
Good point. NSX is a bespoke transmission though, can't reuse existing transmission designs.

Watching reviews about this car it doesn't excite me like a 650s 488 GTB 675LT C7 Z06 and other supercars.
let's wait for the head to heads with other competitors.
+Peter Von Crastenberg Two seater, HIGH horsepower, high price tags.... sound like suppercars to me. A miata is a sports car, a base stingray is a sports car, an m3 is a sports car. 650s and C7 Z06s are SUPERior to those.
+Peter Von Crastenberg the Miata is definitely a sports car.
+Peter Von Crastenberg
I think Motortrend described the Z06 as uncontrollable.
+Jeff K
Even the base corvette Randy Pobst said leave the traction control on or the car would bite you.
Well sounds like a Honda...lol
Acura is literally Honda's American sister company. What the fuck did you expect?
Sarcasm.....
+sniper2606 Yes and it eats up Ferrari and Porsche just like Honda as well.
+sniper2606 Yep just like an Accord V6.
+fatboy19831 LMFAO
That engine sounds beautiful.
Did people just forgot about the LFA? That's car is fucking amazing...
+Wes Hughes LFA = Two NSX's lol
I thought they would make it more like the original with a focus on power to weight, lightweight, aerodynamic etc.
It needs to be cheaper than its competitors as they all have more power and are lighter.
it is cheaper then most of its competitors that most if not all have similar power, some are lighter but non offer the tech that the nsx offers. and they made it so it fits its NSX acronym and nothing in the name says it should be like the old one, making it like the old one would actually make it not fit its name, the old one was built with similar philosophy for Honda just it was built 25years earlier and alot has changed tech wise in 25years. and then they dont even have the same name even though the acronym is the same.
sick ass looking car

I hope honda makes another s2000 someday.
+noah wayne Thanks! Sadly I don't get out much any more. I love reviewing cars but I've got a website (a bunch of them actually) to run.

no complaints about the understeer in everything other than Track mode nor the crappy base Continental tires? you needed to push it harder.
Much better than that piece of shit excuse of a review by Adam Sandler
+Rodney Jones Yeah the title of that video was: "Slowest supercar in the world?" Then they proceed to NOT do ANY instrumented testing .WTF?
Nice review of the 2017 NSX! I look forward to seeing more of your videos! You just earned a new subscriber! :)
fuk yas so sexy, just 3800 lbs needs some work, NSX R needs to be here soon, rwd, 3400 lbs, no electric motors.
+justin bouche Type R will be lighter, The interior is decked out. They might be able to save 200 - 400 pounds just with a "superlegerra" interior.
i doubt anything over 200 LBS, i guarantee theres not 200 lbs of leather, sound dampening, reduced window glass, non electric seats, and then reduced leather / speakers would maybe get you 300 lbs.
+MrLalasd
The Type R should be this same car minus all the hybrid stuff, just a pure sports car.
Jeff K exactly
Jeff K But that won't be a NSX ... it would be like a OSX ...
Is the NSX already getting a design refresh soon with Acura's diamond pentagon grill?
So its a video game. In in oher words, nothing like an nsx
+Blake Swan more like the next gen GT-R
Karun Chendrimada Very true
+Karun Chendrimada I couldn't help but think about this when driving the car. Everyone criticized the GT-R for "doing everything for you." Yes, the NSX does the same thing, but it all feels natural.
+Blake Swan Times change buddy.
YTuberosity no they dont. Time stands still. Mullets everwhere. Bangs. Neon headbands. Stop lying to me
Would love to see them drop the hybrid system, keep it twin turbo'd and let's see what they could do!
+Moby Dick *That also weighs a lot less and actually drives like the original NSX....
+Moby Dick True dat
if i have $200.000 i will never buy nsx i rather used as a down payment to buy a Ferrari.
Tony Vega good luck putting out the fires X)
If you have to finance a Ferrari you can’t afford a Ferrari
admittedly, I would do the same!
The old nsx was affordable and simple...
In the 90s the basic model started at around $60,000... With inflation of today that'd be $100,000.
+Simon Riley And that was not affordable at all.
The NSX has always been a technologically advanced sports car with a premium price tag.
krocialblack i mean in looks it was understated. and it still undercut the competition by a lot. the new nsx does not do the same.
*****
You're comparing the old NSX by todays standards. The new NSX is certainly following in the same footsteps as its predecessor, and is certainly worthy of the NSX name.
it's an engineering masterpiece
I LOVE MY HONDA BUT... 156K NO WAY ZO6 IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree that this is an awesome review of the NSX because I watched a review by Motor Trend and it seemed to me that they put down the car. Motor Trend made it seem like it was a letdown, this review made it sound like it's worth buying.
Watch jay leno on 2017 NSX. Its designed by a white chick. Pretty cool. Not japanese at all anymore.
Idiot...
+torcider6688 I'm hip
What a idiot! What is wrong with stupid racist people like you, farther more she only designed the looks of the car not the whole car idiot
+S Nguyen Yeah, Michelle Christensen who also sports some pretty impressive lines and curves.
That's part of disappointment of this car because NSX should be Japanese.
That edit from 2:10 to 2:15 makes hit seem likes he's about to drive into a wall and he just keeps accelerating.
every other review says this car is terrible
+cstm39
I wonder how much this channel got paid to be a shill.
I have yet to see a review on youtube saying this car is horrible. Unless it has no views and is at the bottom of the search list.
i love this car sooo much!!!!
Way too expensive and underpowered compared to other cars in its class.
it has similar power and is cheaper then most in it's class and non of them offer tech that the NSX offers.
I'll pass...lol
570PS is enough and btw, have you driven one?
Uhm - the Z06 is almost half the price and faster (both 0-60 and top speed). And yes, the Z06 is a supercar. It's even advertised as such. Why would anyone buy this?
UnitedRecording because people in japan and europe are clever
What would you have;
2016 acura nsx
2016 audi r8 v10 or plus
2016 mclaren 570s
2016 porsche 911 turbo s
Looks pretty nice. I'd still take the GTR over this any day.
This new NSX isn't produced in Japan at all, maybe just the electric motors and battery pack. It is designed and manufactured in USA. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
This is as Japanese as a California Roll in a Japanese restaurant.
$157k I rather buy a r8 or 911 with their glorious engine noises
+Refat Ahmed Might aswell plan to throw away half of that Cost away in Depreciation. This will be a car that will only continue to go up in value.
+dcharizard91 I HIGHLY doubt that.
+dcharizard91 Acura is only making around 800 NSX's in the first year, far less than the R8, 911 Turbo, or even the GT3 or 911R.
looking so futuristic beautiful great job Acura
Do you have to recharge the battery to power the electric motors?
MOTOR TREND reviews were very negatives about this new NSX, but yet you seemed very please with the car, interesting.
Hell yeah. Haven't seen Colum Wood in awhile.
"the NSX was a simple, lightweight, no nonsense super car" - That is so wrong I don't even know where to begin.
I really love how it looks, but... I wonder how it compares to other supercars of this price point.
Man, I love the design!
0-60. 1/4mile time? Great looking car. It'll be tough choosing this over the upcoming Audi R8 with a v6 twin turbo for the same price imo.
+Ricky S Hopefully we'll get the chance to run some performance tests on the car soon. And a lap time at our usual track would be nice too.
Great Honda ad. How much did they pay you?
+Cassa Nova He mentioned many downsides actually. "The acceleration feels slower than a 911 Turbo S." "It's the quietest in it's class" - the critical thinker would ask: in a supercar!? "It's livable day to day" - the critical thinker would ask: in a supercar!?
Can't wait until I see this compared to other cars
I know a guy with a new 335, his car is always in sport +.
I wonder if nsx drivers would do the same
+Wei Wang Not really. Porsche 918 drivers do drive their cars in all EV mode around town. Same with NSX.
For take off is there enough room in the engine compartment for a supercharger?
it has a twin turbo engine and 3 electric motors to help with take off and torque vectoring so no supercharger is needed.
Perhaps but has the car reached it's potential. Isn't after market time fun?
yes but when you have twin turbos that can be made to push more psi and changed out for bigger ones, and alot of other things, supercharger is the last thing that is needed in that compartment.
How would you get it to 0-60 to be faster than a stock Bugatti of 2.7 seconds?
+FOR8YESHUA a veyron is a 1.7m dollar and up 1001hp 8l 16cyl 64valve quad turbo car that will never be compared with cars like the NSX as they are not in the same class in anything.
Why do i keep thinking about the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones?
For this price, I'd rather get a Lotus Evora 400 + Jaguar F-Pace. There's no way the hybrid NSX can top Evora 400's light weight chassis and hydraulic steering. Then there's the issue with batteries in hybrid cars; they simply don't last nearly as long as engines, which leads to horrible depreciation.
Also, in this price range, there's the Jaguar F-Type R, Lexus LC500, and if you really gotta have hybrid, the BMW i8.
Why do i hear a sound track of the car shifting gears while he is not touching the paddles?
+bud777 you can select it to shift gears automatically.
such an amazing Acura!!
