But I also get that for you it was the latest in a long list of such things; timing is everything. Regardless, loving the stream, and hope you are enjoying your time!
I was sad over the Izzy stuff too. But, I really try to make decisions that are best for the character. Shen might have pined after Izzy, but Hawke is a whole nother ball game
DA2 companions are probably the messiest and most complicated companions in the whole series, but that's just kind of a thing in Dragon Age. You're rarely going to find someone where you love every little thing about them; they'll be confrontational, rude, lovely, amazing, and their stories will make you want to protect them while their actions will make you want to slap them. The crew you were traveling with is definitely the emo crew, though, with lots of angst in the backstory and not a lot of compassion for alternate points of view. It's a little hard to put together a group that won't have at least a little bit of conflict.

I had my female Hawke to be in relationship with Isabela, and while the start of the romance is not really romantic, it fits her character. If you insist on "bringing feelings into sex" she'll tell how she was sold to a man at a very young age to be his wife. She treats the sex casually but she's afraid to really fall for someone, afraid that someone might like the real her. I feel like it's fiting for her to stay with a woman at the end, because female Hawke can understand her and relate to her sttrugles more.

I think the overall favorite is Merrill based on my comments
So as mentioned by many below, Sleeping with Isabella doesn't exclude any romance nor does it lock you in with Isabella. At that point in time Isabella has slept with Anders and Fenris too. She also eyes up Carver if he is alive and makes a couple passes at Merrill too, its just her nature. The only two she doesn't flirt with are Aveline and Sebastian.
I’m actually really irritated that I even had to look up this information and be spoiled by this, because YES Isabela sleeping with both Anders and Fenris is a spoiler. But FYI, everything I just looked up said that Fenris and Isabela don’t sleep together until later in the game around Act 3.
@@_shhenanigans_ I'm sorry I swear I thought it was during act two! Truly sorry about this one
I like Isabella shes very funny but im not fan of her romance because shes not loyal faithful she flirt and sleep with other people even when her and hawke in relationship you can change her if you go on rivalry path with her
