I have a Taylor 814 ce and I picked up a gs mini and was floored! Love the mahogany. I am hoping I get a mini for my birthday next month 🤞🏼thanks for the video!
Mine just chills on my couch and man I pick it up like 200 times a day. It’s awesome. I assume the rattling sound is due to its small body, that can’t take heavy strumming. The koa model has definitely a wider range, concerning both the bass and the high end.
Before I bought my GS Mini, I kept hearing that it was basically for people who had smaller size hands. Well, my hands are above average in size and the guitar feels totally comfortable when I play.
Wow! You make that guitar sound so great! I have the same Gs Mini since 2017 and it is fantastic! It is a great couch guitar with fantastic sound. You will really enjoy that beauty! Best of luck with it! Brad from Long Island
Andrew Dearing Music for sure dude! I ended up pulling the trigger on a mahogany Gs mini myself. You were right, it’s so comfortable to play! And it sounds way bigger/better than I figured a guitar this size would sound. I can rarely walk past the thing without picking it up.
Thanks for the review I played one at my local music store I did think the spruce top projected a little better but I kind of going for an older Vibe anyway I found one used and pick it up tomorrow thanks for the review you're playing is nice I appreciate it
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
@Victor Diego Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Nice direct to the facts review. Just noticed that they sell the GS mini in different colors of headstock - in black and brown. I prefer the black headstock though but in my country only the brown is in stock.
Andrew Dearing Music Thanks For responding bro. Love your channel. Ya, I ordered a mahogany after your video, but it was strange because the pick guard online is red and the mahogany is darker. I was glad when it arrived that it looked like yours. You should definitely do some beginner guitar lessons.
Andrew Dearing Music Honestly bro, just something that a beginner can learn to play that sounds good. I’ve been playing for about 2 months now, and I don’t really have anything solid to play when people ask to hear me. Anything would help. Also, do you have Instagram?
For better acoustics, for harder picking or struming, try using larger size strings. I have heard a mahogany mini sound beautiful with 13-56 Martin softcores.
Nice review! I ordered the koa version and itll be here in two days. Sold my ps4 pro to help cover the damage haha but needed me something to pick up and strum on the couch or wherever.
Did this come set up nice out the box? I have an Academy 12e and was looking at the gs mini mahogany as a 2nd guitar. I'm a small guy so even the Academy feels big enough.
the walnut costs more because: A: Spruce is typically more expensive than Mahogany. and B: The Walnut model comes with the ES-B pickup system, including a tuner, while the Mahogany version has no electronics.
I got mine six years ago at GC...it’s pretty much stayed in the case😂 because my baritone uke is so much easier for me to play, but I ❤️my mini. Cute subscribe to my channel riff at that end😉
my man causally drops the hardest john mayer riffs possible like it’s nothing
Man I miss mine... need to get this bad boy back. Nice playing

The 814 ce is amazing.

Great review! And beautiful playing. Waiting for my Taylor to be delivered .

My Martin OOOjr does the same thing on the E string when you really dig into it!
Thanks for the review of my new guitar with your mad skazills!
I'm gonna do a review. Planning on " Black hole Sun"
Loved your John Mayer riffs!
The guitar sounds good, but dude you are an incredible player!
Thanks brotha!

Thanks for watching! I’ll check out the spruce top for sure
Wow. You just made me want to pick up my new Hog and start playing it.
So you just gonna casually drop a clean neon riff in the middle of a guitar review? what a guy :D
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to get back into an Instagram account??

@Victor Diego It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Ayaan Kian no problem :D
I just ordered one 👍👌 it was down to this one and the Martin 000-jr10...it was a tough call but I went with the Taylor!
what gauge strings do you use? What is the height of your action?
Great review. Thanks bro!

Loved this. Helped me to choose my next guitar. Great talent by the way!
May I ask what color case yours came with. There’s a beige and a beigy olive green
Mine is the olive green. The beige looks cool though

Kevin Josephs will do man! Do you have any song requests you’d like a lesson on?

@@kevvy22 I gotcha man!
Just got a Taylor gs mini koa! Arrives hopefully Monday and I am so excited! Congrats on the new guitar, sounds great! 👏🏼
how is it?
Nice! I’ll be doing a koa review this week. Let me know how you like yours!
beautiful guitar!
the mahogany from what i understad compresses the sound, probably not the best for a hard strum. this sounds better picking. nice video and review!
So true!
Great video. Thanks Andrew, very informative.

I use Martin LifeSpan 2.0’s. Brings down that brightness compared to the Elixir’s that I used to play with.
im thinking about getting this as my first guitar.
As someone who got one a year ago, it's 100% worth it. Absolutely amazing guitar.
@@TheNastyPS I ended up getting one, no regrets!
anab0lic great choice for a first guitar!
just got a mini yesterday, whats the name of the song at 3:25? thanks
Fast car - Tracy Chapman
Great video! Can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks Jim! Just uploaded a new one for ya.
Excellent review. I love mines.💪😎👍🔥🎶

Beautiful rhythm stick my dude, now lets see some Dearing melodies pour out of it.Good to see you man🤘❤🤘
Jahmen RC Building as One you got it! Thanks for watching man, hope you’re doing well
He opens the bag
Me: uhhhhhhhh (airy sound)
Like what!!? I did what he did. Is it a coincidence that we both do that uhh sounds hahaha
Nice review! I ordered the koa version and itll be here in two days. Sold my ps4 pro to help cover the damage haha but needed me something to pick up and strum on the couch or wherever.
Nice man! Let me know how it is. I’ll be doing a Koa review this week. Thanks for watching
How are you liking it?
Taylor to me has the best playability of any acoustic which is why I'll never buy another brand
gs mini or taylor 114? Could you advise please.
for you easily to play gs mini or 214 more?
i am your size man. And i about to buy gs mini. Just troubling if it to small for me or so? I would appreciate your feed back here sir
I’d go GS mini for sure. It’s a little smaller, but will sound much better than a 114 in my opinion. The 214 sounds great also
I pick up the GS mini a lot more than the 214
I love the ”ratteling”, to me its like I can add distorsion when strumming harder!
Nice dude. I do miss mine. They are good guitars. Might just need to be played a little and broken in. Strings will make a big difference. Great job.
Buy it Break it Fix it thanks man! I’ll bring it over tomorrow lol
Great video! If you don’t mind me asking, what song were you playing at 6:21 - 6:34? Thank you, can’t wait to watch more of your vids
Why Georgia - John Mayer
Nice
Very talented!
Sherry V thank you!
Thank you brother

Yeah man, I have pretty big hands, so it took some time to get used to. But honestly feels perfect now
Nice video.
thank you so much!

The GS Mini sounds better than the 214
You should sing more... because despite what you think, you're a great singer 😁
I appreciate that! I will in one of my next vids
@@andrewdearingmusic5360 I request a song by beartooth lol
