Well, I'm convinced! Pulled the trigger on the full starter set and an expansion for each crew. Loving the Rashaar, there will always be a soft spot in my heart for horrible fish monsters and the people who love/worship them. I do think you're playing crits wrong, just FYI. You have to get a 10 on the destiny dice, AND have at least 1 other success. You're also not playing water quite as deadly as it's meant to be. Cover only applies in water if you're not in base contact, so it's much easier to drown people. And, my personal favourite, if you start an activation in water with a stun counter, you lose 2 life points. No protection roll, no nothin', you're drowning, buddy! Super fun batrep as usual, thanks and I hope to see more of these in the future! I can't wait for you guys to get into some of the crazy missions, they really crank things up a notch. :)
Awesome welcome to the party! I am currently waiting on my copy of Blood on the Water which is the most current iteration of the rules I think. So there may be changes that I am not currently privy to. But in the book I have it says that if the fate dice is a 10 its a critical and that the fate dice counts as an ace. Nothing about having to have another ace. (pg 153) In the water we took our stun damage, I may have forgotten to say it but we definitely took it. On page 167 it say that a character in water is always counted as being in cover from both range and base contact. The cover doesn't help against drowning because it a contested roll, not a protection roll. Again, this is going off of the book that I currently have, if I'm wrong because of the rule book thats my bad, and thank you as always for rules help. Its a lot to keep in straight lol
@@worldofwargaming I think you're right, this must be a rules edition thing. I'm just going off the online rulebook, which is the most current iteration. It includes the whole "cover in water doesn't apply in base contact" and "crits need a 10 on the destiny die AND another success" thing. Whatever the case, it's not like it took away from the game. Y'all did a great job!
@@j4bb3rw0ck Thanks! this is why I love and hate PDF rules. I like the convenience, but I don't like playing from them, I like a hard copy on the table, and it bums me out to buy a new toy and it not have up to date rules. I'm always grateful for rules help!

What are you filming this with? Thinking about getting into recording battlereps, including carnevale. Love the game so far. Great batrep btw!
So this one is pretty old, I think that I was using a gopro hero 5, but I am currently using a Sony ZV-1, thanks for checking it out!
Did the terrain come with the game?
Yezzur, the small starter comes with a two sided mat and I think 3-4 buildings, the full starter comes with 1x1 tiles and 8 or so buildings.
