Skated with him back in the day and he is truly one of the best North Carolina bladers to ever lace them up. Keep on shredding and stay warm up there. If you are ever near Asheville , NC, hit us up!
Nice edit! I was all in the MN scene back in the early 2000 till about 2008 was thinking about jumping back in after some doctors recommendations to exercise more. I still have my pair of Salomon Minton but they are definitely not in good condition. What skate would recommend to jump back in? I miss skating the St Anthony and New Brighton parks back in the day! Bring back Skeptic message board!
Definitely get back into blading. We have a Facebook group that is basically the new Skeptic, hit me up and I can add you to it. For skates, I like Razors the best, but a lot of people really like Them skates (a company created by Jon Julio).

Butch, you and the squad killed it. In my opinion you're the best skater in the mid-west for sure and one of the best ambassadors for blading. Thanks for doing what you do 👍
I appreciate the kind words, though I can think of a lot of bladers around here who are better than me at skating. I’ll take a little credit for being an ambassador though. I’ve always felt that I would be a better promoter of blading than a pro blader, and I’m perfectly fine with that! ❤️
Several members of our crew skate them and like them a lot. I'm too accustomed to Razors, but the couple times I've tried on Them's, I've found them to be very comfortable.
Congrats on finally grabbin a pair of the Derek Henderson SLs! I love the feeling of getting new skates, it makes you skate so much harder than you normally would. Love the video as always!
About to get a size 12 of these, last time i bought a pair of usd carbons 3's and had no ankle support being that im 6'3, i also had put these fast bearing in that made it so i couldnt roll right. Going to use the normal bearings in this one, excited to skate again and see what i can do as a 25 year old. Good skating also!!
@@RollMinnesota Ive skated since i was like 6-7 my body is pretty worn out but i definitely do have some more gas. I remember skating gaps and staircases like it was nothing lol :p the good days.
