that truck come with steering box ? how converts to P.S.? how to choose the right one?
It did. Originally the truck had the old worm gear box with the long fixed steering shaft (known the impaler on early Mustangs, Falcons, and Comets). The Crown Victoria conversion already has a power rack and pinion as part of the k-member right out of the junkyard. But those were different from one another depending on the year, which for me was which set of hoses to use. Although I can’t point you in the right direction, I can tell you this is a great set up, and the truck is now a steering machine with great feel, geometry, and tight turning circle. Cheers!
