@@Twinkly I would love to, but my wife would likely kick me out of the house..... although ironically it would give me a good chance to look at my new Twinkly lights!! 😂
Hey there these look great Do the lights digitally know what orientation they are laid or fixed to determine which led needs to be switched and when for a given effect or do they need to be laid in specific layout?
In the video I just posted showed how it works. It doesn't matter the layout, but you need to be able to take a picture of it. The app maps out each bulb using the camera.
I like the us flag and your puredue as well as fire/Inferno. What a mess with Santas run / skull / valentine / pumpkin. Why didnt you create some pros by pic / Video on your own? That is the Pro compared to the not-pro series, isn't it? Thank you for sharing your setup and installation!
Hi I love the lights and your setup. If you don’t mind me asking. How did you get the lights to hold in place? Are you using brackets or tape? Thank you!
So do the command strips hold up in the weather? Cold and rain and don't damage vinyl siding when you take them off? I'm asking cuz I already have a big display up but I have 1000 more lights just sitting on my dining room table. Mine aren't the pro version but if I could use command strips I could lay out a nice grid on the side of my house.
There are some really tiny command strips that have a hard time with the outdoors. The ones I used had a picture of outdoor lights on the package and haven't fallen off at 32f yet. They shouldn't leave residue when removed.
Does it matter how far apart the strands are placed? Also how many light are needed for something like the skull to look good? I tried doing the cauldron but it seems like you'd need thousands to make it look like the image does
Yeah some effects need a lower section in order to show anything. If fedex can find my package that was supposed to deliver earlier in the week, I'll be able to solve that problem. Stay tuned!
ARGH!! I NEED THESE IN MY LIFE!!!! Damn food, bills and rent taking all my money 🤣
Hey, check our website and find the products for you 🤩✨

The falling leaves are the best! Now you don't have to take them down - useful for all seasons 😁
Why take them down when you can add more lights instead? 🤔
Love it .. Reminds me of Christmas back home in the US. NIce!🍙🍙🍙

Hopefully in a future update they can make designs work on irregular surfaces!
Id literally be so picky with these this is so cool, where do you buy this
I've only seen them on Christmas designers website
Hello. Can you draw some texts (e.g. happy new year, merry christmas, etc.) with this Twinkly Pro?
You can type messages now, but even on my tree with 1200 lights it is hard to read. That's a video idea though!

I use hot glue, its easy to do sets fast and pulls off easily.
@@leepearce8683 thank you so much! I will give it a try
I use 3m command hooks. Surprisingly they held up in the Washington rain yet come off pretty easily. I just made sure to clean first
@@rieskame I was thinking about those hooks. I am in Toronto Canada. I’m not sure how well they will hold in winter.
U mapped in 2d or 3d? And in witch pasition? Btw looks great
Pretty sure I did it in 2d or easy mode since a mostly flat pattern. Thanks!
So, you map it just like the tree?
Yeah but make sure you do it without direct sunlight or reflections. Was a little trickier.

@@rieskame Ok, thanks for the info. I'll have to take a look next time I'm at the store
I added an affiliate link in the description to help narrow down your search.

The higher the resolution the better it will look. I think as long as you space it about as far apart as the lights on the string it will look good
I can't find the length on these anywhere. I need to buy at least 100' for my house.
I read on Amazon that the length is 157ft which sounds about right
Is this only 500 or two sets of 500? Thanks
2 - 250s

Some effects don't work other you skipped. Thanks anyway. Great job.
