- We don't do cold here in the South, but even though the temps dropped below freezing we made it and so did the homestead. A few fires in the big city and some frozen drains, but for the most past we made it through unscathed.

Thank you for your service as a firefighter. In LaSalle county we are currently up to 70* for the moment at 2:30 PM. Then back down to 30* tonight. That one night of 18* popped an old fitting right at our well ... even tho the well was shut off. I'm impressed with how well your rabbit wind wall works.
I appreciate it! Yeah weather changes on a dime and I think we are getting another day of a freeze tomorrow and then the rest of the week it's supposed to be pouring/flooding rain. The rabbit wall surprisingly works well and the rabbits can mange in cold temps as long as they are dry and the wind is off of them.
That looked fun. Especially after that kind of day at work! 😅 Not! Hate the crazy cold!
LOL, We only get a few days of cold each year, so it definitely could be worse.
