I actually liked the badly edited stuff more than the newer stuff, as it feels more authentic, so I hope the old stuff remains available at least.
@@matirion I think he stated that the old stuff will remain up in his update video, he just wants to refresh his old content with the new editing style since a lot more people have subscribed to him since (and most of his viewers clearly enjoy the new editing style)
you can save past-tyler with new editing, but you can't save him from missing the one coin from the pot in the starting house.

@@pa_radigmI can't tell if there's an inside joke going around that I'm not in on for using this phrase incorrectly, because I feel like I've been seeing it everywhere lately, but assuming that isn't the case:
"Punching the air" as an expression doesn't refer to being upset about something. It's something you do when you're happy/excited. Try doing the motion yourself (punching upwards into the air) and you'll probably understand pretty quickly.
@@eugenides04 it's also used to show anger but you punch air because you can't punch them.

I immediately thought "didnt he do this already" then saw the old background and classic red curtain and i realized this was a compilation, given the length. I'll gladly rewatch this as a one sitting game. 👀
Its not really a compilation but old content with new, better editing. This was a way more enjoyable watch than the (already enjoyable) old version of this playthrough.
The funny thing is that with this edited version making it seem like events are happening right after each other (rather than the massive amount of time difference from the original videos), it makes Tyler appear extra dumb because he seemingly forgets things that happened seconds ago.
to be entirely fair to tyler, it's not like the things he forgot about were hard to remember in the first place
Tyler, editors or whoever views comments here, if any - I suggest that if you repost playthroughs in the longwatch format, that you include Tyler's review of the game that he posts as a pinned comment at the end of the playthrough, if it was there(and maybe, if there was a change in his judgement, also reflect that)

I often find myself thinking "Tyler, that solution is obvious, why dont you try it!", but then I remember, he likely has, and it just got edited out.
I understand that, for most games, this is necessary for pacing. But I am very happy to see a video where we get to watch him try 47 times.

i'm actually so glad you're re-editing some old stuff into a mega video, i started watching this series a while ago and lost the plot somewhere and forgot where i was, so watching it all in one place makes it so much easier for me

I had the "Sabasaba Desert" song on my spotify playlist and didn't even know about this game lol. I just found it in another playlist with a bunch of indie game songs.
I love this game. There’s so much to do and so much to see. All of the characters are charming and have their own personalities. The way the game trolls you by make you do things that take a long time. All this is experienced just a minute at a time. 10/10 game.

Started watching, remembered I had this in my steam library, went and played it so I wouldn't get spoiled, 96%'d the game (didn't bother with the last achievement), came back to finish the video. I'm one of the ones who hadn't seen it the first time around, thanks for the recompilation.

My father passed away October, and I went thru a dark time sense he was my only family member i had left. Oh my God, I never watched the original playthrough, so I thought this is a continuation to the series (just like with the Balatro episode yesterday), so before watching this video I went and watched your original playthrough just to realize this is a better edit of that playthrough

My biggest concern was the lack of mustache at first and I almost got really sad
I'm already a big fan of this new video type, for some reason the original Minit series didn't click with me very well, I know I watched it but I can't recall a single thing because I was just not very interested. In this video however I'm feeling very engaged and I appreciate having the newer editing style and jokes to go along with.

A confusing world with a confusing plot, with confused npcs giving you confusing objectives with no promptly clear help or directions, running around exploring and backtracking to know where you're supposed to go next, then a final bossfight with a confusing ending.
