They did stop the Super Battle Droids. They just didn't stop Ventress. Granted, she snuck around them, but she probably would've defeated them .

There are 3 alarms in star wars star destroyers:
This one, which sounds the coolest in my opinion, not too slow, just as an alarm;
Imperial star destroyer alarm, which is well famous and iconic, although doesn't sound like an emergency alarm but perhaps the attention calling one
First order star destroyer alarm, which is creepy enough to scare the heck out of your enemies, although slow for an alarm

But the first order one is the alarm for when it's crippled and gonna break apart, the ISD and RVSD(this alarm in the vid) are for combat, so a bit different, probably why the first order SD sounds so scary, the ship is crippled and doesn't work right

I love these Star-destroyers they look so huge & must carry a lot of clones & tanks & the rest of the gear they use in their battles. So CHOICE & MASSIVE & noisy.
The Venator- class Star Destroyer was the most versatile class of ship and ahead of its time.
I would have kept them in service, much more useful than those ISD's
@@varenshan7731 I’d say it was the opposite. The venator was a specialist, carrying vast numbers of spacecraft, and could definitely hold its own, but it still had weaknesses, and should probably have been supplemented with more powerful ships to defend it, rather than just small craft. The ISD on the other hand, was a true destroyer, as it packed a heavy punch with all of those guns, but nowhere near as many small fighters as the venator. The empire’s problem was using only the isd without many other ship types.
@@imawaffle148 i do appreciate the ISD's but the raised bridge and external shield generators didn't quite help the design over all.
