When you said "it's weird when life becomes a memory" that is so beautifully said. I'm sending love to you and your family during this intense time, and I hope you find your peace. Oh Bailey, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll be thinking of you and sending positive vibes. I feel like your cat was trying to comfort you. I know your cats are always around and how much you love them, I see them in every video! I too am an animal lover and I feel like animals really pick up on our feelings. Just thought it was sweet how much he was trying to cuddle you.

Bailey Van Der Veen they are so intuitive. My dog, Zoe, knew I was in labor with my second daughter before I did. She followed me around the house whining all day. I thought she was hurting or had to go potty. Took her outside a million times...then my contractions started. We really don't deserve animals. You will be in my thoughts Bailey!

Oh Bailey. My condolences to you. You said that you lost your father, and it hit me hard. My father recently passed away as well, on June 3. He also passed in his sleep, at home, where he wanted to be. It was also unexpected, even though he was sick for a while. I completely understand wanting to distract yourself. I understand the surreal feeling that your life with him is now just a memory. We'll get through this. I've been grieving a little longer than you, and while I can unfortunately say it doesn't get easier, I believe you'll find peace in knowing your father is in a better place. Stay strong and allow yourself to grieve in the way you see fit.❤

I lost my dad coming up to 8 years this year, and I still struggle to talk about it now. Never mind sit in front of a camera and put on such an amazing front! Hats of to you dear, I really do feel for you and I know this is a little late of a comment but I hope recovery has been easy for you or if not your in a much better place now. I wash I could reach out and give you a big hug!
The first loss of someone that close is usually the hardest.
One thing I've learned from losing loved ones is that you make sure you take time for yourself. Be there for the others, but not at the expense of your grief. And how you deal with this loss, as long as it's not harming you or anyone else, is perfectly okay. Don't let anyone tell you how you should feel or how you should be grieving. Grieving is a personal experience and no one grieves the same.

I prayed that God give you the strength in these upcoming days, weeks & months ahead and that God wraps his loving arms around you and comfort you. I can sympathize with you love. The loss of a loved one never is easy. Know that he will not miss any events in your life. Just the thought of him is you and him connecting. My grandma just passed away on the 26th and it's so hard, try to focus on the things that you love, think that he went to a better place, that God always knows what's best and never does more than we can take, and that his body may not me here anymore, but he'll always be in your heart. We lost our first son 4.5 years ago, and it was also very sudden and unexpected. Obviously our losses aren't the same, but I can relate to the surreal feeling of having someone who is a huge part of your life and your identity just vanish, and all of a sudden the only things you have left are pictures and memories. I feel like the first 6 months-year after such a big loss you are just in shock. So do whatever you need to do to take care of yourself right now, and never feel ashamed of your grief journey. ♡

I know you hear people say it gets easier as time past and believe from someone who has lost their Mom from cancer at the age of 32 then, my Dad past 4 years later when a drunk driver hit him. My Grandparents are gone now too. My heart breaks for you, Take the time to grieve but also remember all the good times that he brought into your life.
