Thanks, I do like this little engine. The windmill was a plastic kit I painted then added a low rpm motor to. My main reason for having it was because of the classic Thomas and Friends intro I remember from when I was a kid. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
With BR Blue my favourite livery I jumped at the chance to 'Bag' my Bagnall... fabulous little model for the price. New Subscriber here and nice layout sir.
Yeah I think it is a really good little model and runs well for an 0-4-0 😊. Have just manage to buy another Bagnall which must have been old new stock for £25.75. Again I’m really pleased with it 😃. Thank you for watching and subscribing 👍🏻

These are excellent little engines. I bought the BR green version a couple of years ago and I have the G Lee mining example arriving in a couple of days. Great value models. If you're reading this.....go and buy one . You won't be disappointed.

This is an excellent running model. I actually modified mine with side skirts and cow catchers and a stack towards the front to make it a bit more like a class 04 Drewry shunter. I was happy with the way it turned out. Great review

hi there. yes a great loco. i have the green version from when they came out, think i payed around twenty eight pounds, also have a Triang dock shunter which just as good, for once hornby got it right,
Hello Peter 👋🏻 yeah I do like the Hornby Bagnall’s. Just bought another one which was new old stock from the Hereford Model Center for £27.95. Again it runs well. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a Dock Shunter 😊. Thank you for watching 😊
One of the best locomotives in Hornby's range (maybe even the best) in terms of quality versus price. The RRP for even these is quite high now though, picked up both mine (the red freelance one and the BR green one) new for £25-30 just 2-3 years ago. Hornby's prices are becoming ridiculous across the board.
I would agree with that and wished mine was the price you paid 😊 which would make it even better. Prices are getting silly now. But for an 0-4-0 it is a really good runner. I do have one in the Coca-Cola livery as well. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
@@LocoLeighton Check out Hereford Model Centre. They still have the plain red Bagnall (R3283) in stock at £25.75, which is ~£1 more than the price I paid. Well worth it even if you do not need one as we are unlikely to see bargains like this again. A new locomotive for the price of a wagon!

@@LocoLeighton …..I bought mine new a few years ago ,the same as yours in BR blue but mine has 2 white rods either side at the front on both sides .I’ve noticed on yours and many other versions of the bagnall ( Coca Cola etc ) that there are holes cut out for these rods but they don’t seem to be fitted ! I wonder Is mine a rarity or did they sometimes fit these white rods on some but not on others ?

@@LocoLeighton …….thought I’d re-check mine in case I had imagined the white rods etc ……after checking mine I’ve found it’s a different model .The model is a Hornby Railroad R3065 BR Class 06 Diesel 06008 ………..cost new £25:00 !
@@stupididiot6116 Ah that makes sense 😊 So it's a Class 06 and not a Bagnall. The 06 looks like a nice model and a good price at £25 😃
