    Very good video. I’m a middle age widow living in a north central area of Texas. Not many people around me have heard of much less know how to work on these systems. We had it installed in 2016.

    Thank you for posting this! We have been having intermittent alarms for the last year and a half. Called out the plumber that installed the system, and he said both sensors were bad. After he put in new sensors, it was only a matter of months until the problems returned. We disassembled the unit today and cleaned the sleeve and freed up one of the paddles in the flow meter sensor that was sticking a little. No alarms since we put it back together. Now we know we can maintain this on our own just with parts costs. Thank you!!

    Maybe you can answer this question. A friend pointed out that when turning on my cold water kitchen faucet after the hot water was running, it still runs warm for awhile. He said that would seem to indicate that warm water is running thru my water filter, which is supposed to be connected to cold only. This is an apartment - and I was told everything was connected properly. Does that sound right? Would hate for my water filter not to be working properly.

      I doubt it. Likley just that the cold water poipes are exposed to a heat source. If it starts ourt warm but turn cold after a while it definitely is cold water.

    I can get 2 years out of my Viqua High Output UV light?
    My timer/ counter has a 365 day on it, can I just reset for another year?

      Yes, if you have one of the pro series UV lamps as listed in the video description. Not any of the other HO lamps, just the pro series.

    What Stainless steel whole house systems would you recommend?

      @water_estore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on what concerns you would like addressed. Have you had your water tested? If so you can email us the test results and we can make recommendations.

    Viqua controllers are very susceptible to over heating. These units are not for outdoor use. Although 70% of my clients systems are outdoors. So we have them build shade and rain coverings over the entire system. Yet on very hot days the controller will overheat. it seems a few of these and the unit will no longer work. So For the love of everything good why in the heck don't they address this. Your thoughts Sir.

      Great question. I know they don't recommend outdoor installations. Worldwide, by far, the majority of these are installed indoors so for the majority of their customers it isn't a concern. Then in cooler climates, there isn't a problem when installed as you mentioned. They would need to significatly rework the controller to improve the cooling which would significantly increase their cost for 100 % of their market.

      You are correct. The video was really for the ones that will or the contractors who would like to but aren't sure where to start.
