I noticed you also designed a version of this magazine for the crossbow limb version of the Adderini, I'm definitely going to download and print that upgrade for my Adderini, awesome job and thanks for putting it out there, definitely affordable too! well worth the price to support your work!
What about using custom length and force tension springs on both sides ? I am receiving my first 3d printer as of the next days, and may use your improvement on the adderini base to work something out.
Wow, the original Adderini is great allready and then there are so many great add-ons and maker overs. This is definitely one of the coolest ones. But having only one single rubber, isnt it a bit weak?
I guess he could put a black rubber witch I think are the strongest. Also this is not a hunting weapon per say. Still dangerous (we can clearly see in the video, there is room to insert hunting bolts) and probably decent for self defense put still . My guess is the way the model is made, make's it effective in short range only since the rubber band probably dont extent to it's full potential.

Hi I haven't formally release the stock, but a few people have asked for it. You can download it here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zgW_HJNyoZHiDqWFuU5iO_kKMna5STcn?usp=sharing Provided 'as is'. First you will need some 19mm ED tube, which forms the structure of the stock, (mine is shower screen rail from the hardware store). Using the hinge is optional. The long bolts for the hinge are M4x34mm. The magnets are 18mmx5mm. A variety of M3 and M4 plus CA glue to hold everything else together. All parts should print without support.
@@slingbowmk.l3114Will it accommodate the crossbow limb version of the Adderini as well, or will I need to tweak the design a bit to make it fold? Looks like it might work. Ever try to fit one on a crossbow model?
Having printed this, you're fairly limited with the how powerful the crossbow is what with you being limited to using a single rubber. I'm still experimenting how to increase the power this thing can do but for now, if you're looking for something that can actually do some serious damage, the crossbow type adderini is your go-to.
hm.. A partially agree, with the right bolts it can make big damage even without much power, but it is also a matter of accuracy and.. defendability? Even though it is not meant for long distances, it would still be nice to do more than 5m and over that the bolts will curve down quite a bit, as it appears in the video, plus it might even be possible for attackers to dodge it on a distance like 10m. I think the original power of around 10J is very reasonable.

What u did to the rubbers is deffenetly an improvement
But i feel like we need this just 2/3 or maybe even 4 times as powerful
Would need made of different material
The Slingbow is basically a derivative version of the Lever Action rifle because it operates in a similar fashion at least with the cocking mechanism.

*_just awesome_*
what diameter has your rubber tube? outer and inner? thanks in advise.

I just purchased this file. Interested to know what filament you used as I love the colour and finish. Also what scope are you using?
The green is Esun pla+ Olive. I soda blast my parts to give them a matt finish.
What model 3d printer do you suggest for this?@@slingbowmk.l3114
What site are you using? I am about 3/4 of the way through printing mine from the files I purchased from you.
It’s a basic red dot sight something like this one

The first mant to put compact could springs on one of these (see the Lancehead limbless xbow), will...be..a..god...😢😂❤🎉
Coil springs

Not powerfull
You don't need to be. It's a short range 'weapon'. With the right 'broadheads' tips to tear flesh you can put down wild pigs with this.
