This looks great, what size head does it fit without scaling it?
The helmet just fits my large 59cm head, although I need to attach the cheek pieces after the helmet is on. Can be easily scaled as needed. At some point I'll modify so that the cheek pieces with chin trap can be attached magnetically.

Having printed this, you're fairly limited with the how powerful the crossbow is what with you being limited to using a single rubber. I'm still experimenting how to increase the power this thing can do but for now, if you're looking for something that can actually do some serious damage, the crossbow type adderini is your go-to.

Seems pretty weak… is it more of a toy?
Joerg sprave measured these tension band pistols at about 50lbs if built properly. Let one of these broadheads even glance your body within 10m shooting range, and you visit ER voluntarily. If it penetrates, it will do so rather deeply, and these bolts are not disinfected, making this same as a deep stab wound. Very likely this would not stop bleeding without pressure bandage and needs proper wound irrigation, disinfection, regular sterile bandage change and antibiotics - or you risk sepsis. If it hits center mass instead of arms and legs, you are in deeper trouble. Neck and head, very deep trouble. Truth is, this would make an excellent medium distance home defense tool, and under unlucky circumstances, a deadly one.

Nice but it won't be easy trying to manually pull a pistol crossbow limb above 50lbs without some sort of lever system.
The draw weight with this setup is about 48lbs. It is straight forward for an adult male to draw.

No sorry, BB has to be ferromagnetic for mechanism to work
The Slingbow is basically a derivative version of the Lever Action rifle because it operates in a similar fashion at least with the cocking mechanism.

A version that shoots 6~8mm steel balls would be nice, it depends on which file you printed.

Hi I haven't formally release the stock, but a few people have asked for it. You can download it here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1zgW_HJNyoZHiDqWFuU5iO_kKMna5STcn?usp=sharing Provided 'as is'. First you will need some 19mm ED tube, which forms the structure of the stock, (mine is shower screen rail from the hardware store). Using the hinge is optional. The long bolts for the hinge are M4x34mm. The magnets are 18mmx5mm. A variety of M3 and M4 plus CA glue to hold everything else together. All parts should print without support.

Can the bands be upgraded to stronger ones
Hi it can be setup with either tubes or bands. Best speeds are with crossbow limbs. The draw length is the main limiter.

Hello ! Tell me why your 3080 tires have such a high starting force of 43 lbs. On my 3080 tires with the same dimensions it comes out to no more than 28 pounds. And the speed with such a short draw on your pistol is simply enormous. What is the secret?
Hi I made the tube loop pretty tight. The rubber tube is 100mm long and the string about 65mm. Results in a fair bit of pretension. There will also be some variation between different sources of rubber.
