In my dept we're required to get it down under 1 min just to pass academy. There are some ppl who get it in the high 30s-low 40s seconds and its crazy.
I’d love to see a video of you guys dawning full gear in 30-40 seconds! Also never heard of an academy in the US with that requirement before - let our community know where you’re at to help us keep high standards. Which department do you run out of?
@jkim320 Ouachita parish fd. Yeah 30 sec is crazy. Fastest I ever hit was 45 one time. Usually I'm in the mid 50s. They're a but extra with wanting to 'not be like the other girls'
Just A Tip Short Socks With Rubber Boots Dont Mix You Will Start To Get A Really Bad Rash If The Department Has Globe Boots That Are Your Size Just Laying Around And Chief Says You Can Take Them Do it There a Game Changer
I’ve never seen a firefighter complete the two minute drill in 55 seconds, but that would be beyond impressive in any circumstance (paid or volunteer)!
Great job man! Trynna get the department's lowest time beat. (56 seconds full turnout+SCBA)
56 seconds is insane! Keep pushing for it 🔥
@@jkim320 Thanks man, lowest time (Bunker gear) for me was 46 seconds. (Im a junior.)
56 seconds is department record
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast!
💯🙌🏻

Haven’t had any issues like that, but I appreciate you sharing your experience! It’ll be good to keep a pair on the rack just incase.
@@jkim320 no problem sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do
Is 55 seconds good for an unpaid fire department
