I have a setup similar to yours. I have the el gato and use OBS. My question is, if I'm using OBS to stream do I need to worry about any settings I have on the el gato affecting my stream via OBS? I ask this because I'm trying to capture party chat into my streams. I have all those splitters and such to make it work but the cat isn't coming through in my stream. I think I'm overlooking an audio setting somewhere. Any advise?

this may sound stupid but u need a capture card in order to stream from the xbox one and computer? and how do you add the big graphics like some people have around it?..or even the follower things through twitch or donation set up?

If your headset is plugged into the controller the audio will not go into your stream. I have always used the kinect for voice chat. Some games allow you to put fire team or squad chat through the Xbox and headset, but party chat will not do both at this time.

Check to make sure that you have the latest version of the elgato game capture software and drivers. This happens to me too, I'm not sure what causes it sometimes it's worse than others. The less stuff you have plugged into usb the better too, to help limit the load on your PC. Also try dialing back your sound settings in OBS, like a lower bit rate. Let me know if any of that helps.

Yes it does. However, you are very limited in what you can do. You cant see viewer questions or comments on your stream, you cant add overlays, twitch alerts. When streaming like this, you want to have 2 monitors or 3 for some. One for gaming, One for OBS to capture on/view twitch comments. If using a 3rd monitor like me. I use one for gaming, the other for OBS and recording essentials, and the third to monitor the twitch chat feed.

Typically on Twitch its live so you don't post videos you just live stream. No you don't need a partnership, anyone can do it!

It goes black on your TV? If that's the case it's probably the resolution on the tv. Check to make sure your Xbox and TV are set the same.

I have two monitor. One monitor is for my xbox the other monitor is for the pc. My elgato is hooked up threw my xbox threw my (xbox) monitor.
